February 12, 201610 yr He could be right on the players leaving though. New manager may not want to keep Pato, he would be an idiot to keep falcao. That leaves Diego who has hinted in the past a return to atletico could tempt him.
February 12, 201610 yr Author If Diego leaves I really think we should try and bring Lukaku back to the club

April 20, 20179 yr Spotted in the wild somewhere in the south of London. I forgot he even existed if I'm being honest. (In B4 "He'd still be better than Costa jokes).
April 20, 20179 yr @ForeverCarefree, hadn't seen you post much recently but was thinking about your view on Costa. We are all fans when he is doing the business, but I think it's fair to say, you are a big admirer. Just wondered what your honest opinion of Costa is now after the last couple of months?

We are all fans when he is doing the business, but I think it's fair to say, you are a big admirer. Just wondered what your honest opinion of Costa is now after the last couple of months? Staunch defender of my boy Diego. For me, he's the most natural goalscorer I have seen in my 22 years of watching Chelsea. That said, his performances in the last two months are disappointing. If he doesn't score you can forgive it if he's causing the opposition problems with good runs, hold up and link up play. But none of that is there right now. I don't think his work rate has dropped off, he's still leading the press from the front, attempts runs into the channels so it's not like the beginning of last season where he seemed disinterested. Something isn't right with him, whether it's a fitness thing or a mental thing who knows. Trouble is Conte has backed himself into a corner. He doesn't rate Michy B so he's not going to pick him regardless of how poor Costa is because he's backed Costa to be his first choice... If he's fit, he plays. I'd like to think if Costa can get himself a goal against Southampton it'll restore some goal scoring form to see us through the last few key matches but he just doesn't look like his deadly best right now and 5 games without a goal could easily become 10 with the way he's performing. Sadly, I think he'll go in the summer. Truth is, I wouldn't be surprised if a deal with a Chinese club isn't already agreed. We saw it with Oscar how we agreed the transfer well before the January transfer window. Could be the same here but there was an agreement with Chelsea, the new club and Costa that he finished the season with us to help maintain the title challenge because we wouldn't have been able to sign a decent replacement mid season. Regardless of form, I'll always support him when he's playing, I can't bring myself to turn against him or say that I don't want to see him in the team because it makes me so happy when he plays well and scores. He's definitely a favourite of mine and continues to be.
April 20, 20179 yr Hopefully he'll pull a Malouda, in that the most ridiculous his hair gets, the closer to the cusp of world-class his performances will be.
July 17, 20179 yr Offers coming in from Turkey for him. Around 10M to Fenerbahce. Forget he was still on our books til i seen he scored at the weekend

July 17, 20179 yr so we got rid of the upcoming Traore and kept Remy, got wonder what's the hell is going on. Remy is one of the most meaningless signing we have made in the past 5 years, never good enough to nail a starting spot, and never available when we needed him to step up.

Maybe there hasn't been much interest in Remy yet. I don't think he will be in the squad when the season starts.
