Agree, I think he will be back at Chelsea next season.

I hope so, but I don't want to see him end up like our other Youth prospects - so many high hopes only to see the lads get shipped off to the under belly of English Footie

Get the feeling he has matured whilst being at Palace, I bet also after hearing Alex Oxlade Chamberlain speaking after the FA Cup final saying that he wasn't keen on playing wide back yet just grateful to be playing struck a note with him.

The highlights were not so good as before, perhaps down to Arsenal being better opposition or perhaps just an off day.

Lots of short passes, a couple of charged down shots, at least one should have been a better pass to another player. Two miss-hits.

A recall?? Why? We don't need him...

we are looking at barkley for january, so that indicates we want another central mid.

that is media speculation - IMHO I am not buying it & don't want Barkley - Drinkwater is starting to perform - yes Baka is hit & miss but has put in some good shifts against Top Opponents (Spurs away & AM away come to mind) - Kante is the King Maker & is healthy - I rather give RLC some run & I hope club goes into that direction

I'd rather he plays 20 more games for palace than 5 games for us this season.

Ok, but do we really need Barkley for this season? That is the real question. RLC is one for the future

I don't think we need Barkley. I don't think it is relevant though? Also RLC is old enough now to stop saying future.

Either hes good enough or not. Personally I think he's highly overrated by Chelsea fans.

Injuries and illness normally get reported.

That may be, but speculating about a training ground bust-up is a very big leap, and unsubstantiated as well, as far as I'm aware. For all we know, the man has to deal with family circumstances. We just don't know why he wasn't in Palace's squad.

He had a bust up with his family, then had a bust up with his team mates and then had a bust up with his own leg which he got injured from and is now out of the squad.

So you are both correct.

If i had to guess he got left out because his lack of stamina meant two high profile games back to back would have been to much for him.

I was looking on the CPFC forums to see if I could back up my comment in the wake of Valerie's remark.

I could find very little on RLC except criticism of his lack of movement and another saying how Wilf had remarkably improved playing with RLC.
