Massive, massive 3 points b/c I'm afraid we're going to drop several more unless we sort things out.

Hope Costa's not too bad hurt, Remy really seems to take his chances though - could be some much needed fresh legs down the stretch.

Ivan needs to sit - would love to see Azpi and Luis both in the same side for a match or two.

Cesc much better today, maybe he can finish strong.

Hazard should be PFA POY - his consistency is the reason we're in 1st.

I get the feeling Oscar will be sold this summer. I can see a change in formation next season - more 4-3-3, perhaps? Anyway, plenty of time to speculate on that later.

Dreadful is harsh. He was rusty defensively, but he offered that option out wide, and we actually had a couple of crosses from the left for the first time in forever.

 

Tough to be competing with Azpi for a spot in this side though, he truly is a top-class defender, reads the game so well.

Well my thoughts on today's game...

First 10 minutes were terrific going forward but the danger at the back was clear for all to see.

Ivanovic is a very poor right back, defensively he gets caught it pretty much every week multiple times and it puts the CB beside him under extreme pressure.

Cahill struggles whenever he's asked to play against forwards with pace and it really shows, he doesn't have the positional awareness of JT to make up for it.

Willian yet again shows that he is a very very poor attacking player, I inow he got the assist and he done well, but how often does that happen? Surely Cuadrado with a run in the team would provide more.

Remy yet again displays that he has a goal scorers touch, he's fantastic in the box, I'd love to see him get more game time, perhaps even alongside Costa!

Tibo made a mistake for the 2nd but throughout the game he was still a huge presence in goal and the triple save was terrific.

The rest of the 1st half was poor, the second half we controlled but didn't look very dangerous.

I don't take back anything I posted in the thread, we can improve massively, second half of the season we have been very poor and I do worry if we don't improve I do worry we will get punished. If we play like that first half, United & Licerpool will punish us.

Now this is the one I'll get abuse for, Jose needs to stop being so stubborn, we laugh at pellegrini for it but Jose is no different. Same team, same tactics every time.
