Voted for Greizmann on the basis that I think he'll be cheaper than Reus. Also, Pogba and Bale are too expensive.

I didn't expect Greizmann to be available this summer, but now that he might be.. easily my number one target.

I'd be completely satisfied if we acquire our top two targets in Greizmann and Koke.

Messi? Who's that?

(Actually, I was tempted to include a one-legged Messi option. There's no point in putting him though, is there? It goes from being a not very meaningful pole to a completely non meaningful pole, because let's face it - Messi = 95-100% of the votes.

Yup Varane.

We'd be set in central defence for the next decade possibly with Zouma and Varane.

I know that will never happen though as Madrid would never sell the best young CB in football.

Obviously Pogba and Bale would be outstanding but again can't see that happening with the fee and wage demands being sky high when we are trying to live within FFP.

A more realistic one would be a flip the coin on Isco and Greizmann.

If Bale becomes available then we should push the boat out in order to sign him. Otherwise Griezmann.

Bale. Because he's homegrown, proven, and Jose can get the two-way player out of him. The guy can run for days and has experience as a defender, Jose would make him world class.

If we're being realistic though, Sterling. I think he has huge potential.

Nah. He's this generation's Aaron Lennon. Just runs about a lot.

Griezmann or Reus for me.

We have time to find JT's long term replacement, he can give us another year or 2 at the top I believe.

In that time we may find another Zouma, or maybe Kalas/Çhristiensen  may come through our own ranks and be ready to step up. Bottom line is we have yet to find someone to play at the highest level for us on our right.

You have to wonder if Cuadrado will be given more of a chance or packed back off to Italy in the summer.

I think the CM and RW are the positions we need to be looking at to strengthen, Went for Bale but highly unlikely so probably Greizzman would be the more realistic choice, would love Pogba here but If Juve win the CL would he really want to leave?

Good God, Praz94! You attached a picture of your face to every thread on the previous page at one point. Dedication of Azpilicuetive proportions.

Back to the point in question, I do share some of your apprehension though that the price might not reflect value.

I wonder how suited Bale would be to breaking down the teams that sit very, very deep. Admittedly, I didn't get to watch too much of him in his first season at Real. But, for Tottenham, I would have thought he didn't have to face too many teams who are happy to come and defend like we face.

Bale if we can afford it, as already mentioned he is proven in the Premiership, has a good attitude, scores goals and us signing him would likely annoy sp*rs fans, which is priceless!

I wanted Reus all season, I even allowed myself to get suckered in by the rumours over Christmas. I have to say though there are some pretty convincing reasons for bringing Bale in. Not least because of the Sp**s reaction.
