Can we end the loan in January and buy ourselves a good striker?

Useless loan. I knew it from the beginning that Jose won't revive Falcao. An impossible mission, he lost his class and he is not a top player anymore. He somehow had more trust than Remy from Jose.

Can we please get rid in January and bring back bamford or at least promote one of the youth strikers?

To be fair at the moment Palace are a much better side than we are lol.

You think any team as big as chelsea would be willing to play a youth player as a lone CF at a time like this for "player development" no chance, and tbh i dont think bamford will ever be good enough imho

I was watching Bayern do it today & all season, so yes I do believe CFC could develop players from the Academy that assist the team achieves it's goals, but it takes time. Look at playing Bamford as an investment, which can payoff in time. Think in the Long Term & not the short term.

You can added that, no matter how badly he or Solanke did for us, they would be no worse than Falcao or remy have been this season.

+1, but at least we can use the excuse that the lads are learning their trade - Falcao was supposed to be returning to his previous goal scoring form - many CFC were preaching this too me & also saying that Falcao didn't get the proper service @ manu....What is the excuse now?

He is gettin even worse service here! Plus that was his 2nd game started!!

Maybe if we got off his back and supported him it would help. Falcao has played no worse than Costa has this season, the main problem has been the service to the strikers.

Maybe we could mix it up and play with both Costa & Falcao, as the one lone striker really hasn't helped our attacking efforts when our wingers hardly cross and cut back back in, or don't play the ball in early enough to the strikers runs into space.

If you watch Falcao his movement and probing into space is brilliant, but players like Hazard and Willian have blinkers on at time when they could blatantly pass the ball to him in the box.

fans are behind him at the grounds, ive not once heard him singled out for audible abuse that would contribute towards a lack of form.

the lad just isn't very good anymore. either that or he isnt suited to this league. it happens.

I agree with the above. Maybe he just cannot adapt to the premier league. Or maybe he has just "lost it".

 

Ok, with better service he will still score goals, but not enough for a title winning team.

I would say he should go to Italy where pace isn't needed as much but it didn't work out too well for Torres.

Only a complete nutter can not see he is totally finished, caput, finito !!

 

Sorry if it sounds harsh, but look at our league position please, especially the GS column.

to be fair I felt sorry for him Saturday for a small player he won the majority of highs balls launched at him but had no one close to pick up the ball. We are not giving him any balls to work with we never played ball to feet for him and his team mates let him down .....with better service he would score

I don't think he is going to be any good for us, but I have to admit, he put in some graft but had no decent service on Saturday.

Honestly we play such a stupid style of play for our strikers this season, lumping it up to a lone striker really winds me up.

Basically Falcao is the least of our problems right now. 

As much as I think he is over as a player of any note, he has zero support.

I know and the fact he was happy to play second fiddle and take his £100k pw shows exactly what stage of his career he is at.

 

Perhaps he might just prove his worth if we progress in the CL but I honestly would have preferred us to go into this season with Bamford as our 3rd striker.
