Can't wait for to see his departure, everyone knew he's going to fail here, yet we still signed him. It's a real pity, 3 years ago I would say sign this guy for all the gold under Roman's couch, he was the one! He made some really odd career options, and of course that injury just ruined him. I expect him to score regularly in the MSL through.

He's a flop in terms of minutes on the pitch. I'd love to see him regain a good level of fitness and be used as I still feel he has a lot to offer.

 

Unlike Torres, Falcao was truly world class and scored a load of goals each season at Porto and Atletico Madrid, he was even decent at Monaco before the knee injury which really set him back. United have been a shambles attacking wise under Moyse and LVG and Falcao really didn't fit in with the style of football they were playing.

 

If he can't stay fit then he needs to question whether he can carry on, and is very fortunate he is still on the kind of salary he is.

Torres was for 3-4 years a wonderful striker and one of the best in Europe easily.

Faclao is the same basically, both were never the same after injury and turned to mince.

Still rumours going we are trying to terminate this project in the next few days.

Seems unlikely, although the only way we replace Remy is if falcao goes too apparently. We really missed out on signing Charlie Austin. Would have been good value and sold on for a profit.

Apparently fallen through because Jackson Martinez has not moved on loan. Falcao is now expected to stay until the summer.

Disapointing and a waste of £140k per week.

However, from what little I have seen, he has retained some of his sharpness in front of goal - his predatory instincts and aerial ability are still intact.

 

Maybe a slower-paced league with smaller central defenders is what he needs to try and rebuild his reputation.
