Something I find quite outstanding when talking about  this Liverpool side being dead on their feet.

 

They last had a full week break without a midweek game  on the 13th-20th of December and they wont have another until the 6th and 13th of March at least, longer if they go further in the EL. two of these ties have gone to ET as well.

 

After the hectic   XMAS  period they played these midweek games

 

Stoke

Arsenal

Exeter

Stoke

Leicester

West Ham

 

All in midweek, and  next midweek is

 

Augsburg

Augsburg again

City

Possible last 16 ties

 

Incredible, they will be shattered.

If Klopp had waited a few weeks he could have been here instead.

That's why I don't want us to make it into the Europa league next season ( we probably won't anyway). The extra games , long travel to not so exotic places, and playing catchup in the league on Sunday. I hope we get a result ( good or bad) against City in the FA cup, last season we want is a replay on their turf.

All of today's papers going with the story Mourinho to United is a done deal, United will have to come out and deny that sometime this week or forget Arsenal fan tv, LVG's press conference on Friday will be worth getting the popcorn ready for.

The guy has pleaded guild to two charges, one of grooming her and meeting her for sex and one of touching her sexually, knowing she was under 16 in both cases. There's no grey areas.

Indeed and the term grooming is still a question of context. As I've said before, if it's true poor girl, if not poor chap, no winners. We weren't there, we have to trust our legal system for good or ill.
