February 6, 201610 yr I can see man city going on a bad run. Imagine them slipping out of the top 4. Poor pep
February 6, 201610 yr I can't get excited if City not winning the league means Arsenal do. I know thats incredibly harsh on Leicester but I'm struggling to see them last the distance. Hope I'm wrong and hoping the lack of other cup competitions goes in their favour too.
February 6, 201610 yr So klopp misses the Liverpool game due to illness, but it turns out it was a misunderstanding. Hes been Taken to hospital as a precaution after he was complaining about having a bad side.
February 6, 201610 yr I wonder how long Leicester will hold on to Mahrez. If they win the league surely he will spend next season with them in the Champions League at least.
February 6, 201610 yr Have 32% possession and score on counter attacks? Thought we hated that strategy. Or is that only when you aren't winning Surely can't be any worse than what we are watching right now. At least when Leicester have the ball it goes forward and not sideways, backwards. Manager and players under no pressure whatsoever and they are loving sticking it to the so called big teams.
February 6, 201610 yr I love how everyone who doesn't support a team challenging for the title wants Leicester to. It's an amazing story. I still have my doubts that they will see it out, but their last few games have given me more hope than I've had. Genuinely....I'd be almost as happy with Leicester winning the league as I would have if Chelsea had won. It's just so unexpected...an underdog story in the purest form. An underdog story that continues throughout 38 games, and not just a one off fluke would be all the more extraordinary. Come on Leicester!
February 6, 201610 yr City seem to have misplaced their copy of One Step Beyond. Only play it when we visit the council house just because play it when we have big wins. How sad
February 6, 201610 yr i wonder if pellegrini knowing that he is already replaced next season is doing city any favours? must be hard for him to stay really focused and be that bothered lets hope that van gaal gets severely affected tomorrow by the spectre of jose looming behind him
February 6, 201610 yr Right lets watch spuds show us how to beat teams like watford now.....& well done Leicster lets hope you can handle the pressure & win the league instead of those delusional retards from north London...
February 6, 201610 yr May be delusional but (besides the fact Leicester's home shirts are blue and their away shirts are black) I see a lot of similarities between this Leicester team and the 2004/2005 Chelsea team. Mahrez = Robben Kante = Makelele Huth = JT Drinkwater = Lampard Tactically they sit back and soak up pressure in the same way we used to. Your memory is playing tricks on you. Robben never played under Ranieri, and the CB Huth reminds you of was, er, Robert Huth, who doesn't possess a fraction JT's footballing ability. And sitting back and soaking up pressure was not something we were ever good at with Ranieri in charge. Edit: oops. Just noticed you were comparing this team with José's, not Claudio's! My mistake, sorry! Edited February 6, 201610 yr by Backbiter
February 6, 201610 yr Damn. I've a three result accumulator - Leicester, Villa and Spurs to win. Please score Spurs - the money will be helpful...
February 6, 201610 yr Don't know what has happened to Stoke but they have gone to sh*t in the last month.
February 6, 201610 yr Damn. I've a three result accumulator - Leicester, Villa and Spurs to win. Please score Spurs - the money will be helpful... .....and there you go...... Fingers crossed for you.
February 6, 201610 yr Damn. I've a three result accumulator - Leicester, Villa and Spurs to win. Please score Spurs - the money will be helpful... Come on Spud, almost there! :)
February 6, 201610 yr .....and there you go...... Fingers crossed for you. Thanks BQ. It will not be a fortune (£37.88 from a £2 bet!) but will be good :-)Fingers crossed. I ought to have placed a bigger bet just on the Leicester result. Hindsight and all that. Edited February 6, 201610 yr by Spudulike
February 6, 201610 yr Apparently thousands of Liverpool fans are leaving the stadium in protest about the ticket prices according to the BBC.
February 6, 201610 yr Fair play to the LFC fans for an effective protest. WBA seem to be nose diving. Pulis has tended to produce reliable defences but WBA are conceding more often and not scoring either.
February 6, 201610 yr Apparently thousands of Liverpool fans are leaving the stadium in protest about the ticket prices according to the BBC. Wouldn't say thousands Scots from what I saw hundreds maybe on the 77 minute. Edited February 6, 201610 yr by bluegraham
February 6, 201610 yr BBC over-exaggerating again then. I think so but I'm only saying what I've seen while watching the match
