Know he's admitted that he now knows she was under 16! Not that he knew at the time.

As Droogs has said really a lose, lose situation.

That's not what it says in those newspapers.

Johnson is accused of grooming the teenager between 30 December 2014 and 26 February 2015 and having met with her to carry out sexual activity knowing that she was under 16, the age of consent. Standing in the dock, Johnson answered “guilty”.

In a second count, Johnson is charged with intentionally touching the complainant in a sexual way knowing that she was under 16. He briefly consulted his legal team before answering “guilty, yeah”.

The biggest danger is the ones we don't know about as opposed to a footballer in the public eye. Or, those in the public eye who seem to have some form of immunity, see the Goddard enquiry. All very sad and very worrying.

Not what's being reported up here

From what I can see the grooming relates to texting, he has admitted to the charge presumably due to phone evidence.

If a man texts a woman miles away that he wants to harm himself as a result of a lovers' tiff it is now considered part of domestic abuse, I just add that for the way times, and the law, have changed.

I've just seen a picture of the Napoli coach casually smoking a f-ag on the touchline during a game, No fine, Nothing, That's on top of getting a measly £20,000 fine for making homophobic comments towards Mancini during a Cup game, These Italians don't really buy into all that political correctness lark.   :laugh2:

does smoking on the touchline really warrant a fine? i don't know the rules to that lol.

Imagine the uproar, Not good for kids to see, Bad role model etc etc.

I wonder if there's been a manager who's cracked open a cold one on the side lines, If there ever has it's most likely been an Italian manager or a Spaniard, The FA is so dictatorial that i fear for Paul Tisdale of Exeter, Any day now he could be getting a three game touch line ban for wearing that hat of his.

Manchester United remain on course to become the first Premier League club with an annual turnover in excess of half a billion pounds, despite their early Champions League exit this season.

United announced record second-quarter revenues of £133 million -- a rise of 26 percent on last year -- and still expect their income for the current financial year to be between £500 and £510m. That will represent an increase of at least £105m on the 2014-15 financial year.

Grrrrreeaat

arsenal leicester at the weekend, big game, if arsenal win this it could well take the wind out of Leicester's sails, but if leicester can turn them over like city last week, who knows. Still have a terrible feeling that the tinkerman is going to bottle it

Back to Adam johnson and more to the point his Mrs...there she is by his side at court, clearly thinking about the money over any sense of ethics or self-respect...not only have you found out your bloke has cheated on you, he's done it with an underage girl and is facing prison...how can you possibly stay with him?...surely his bank balance isn't worth the price of such shame?
