So we got a average midtable player who couldn't even impress at Liverpool in Moses, Cuadrado who looked like complete sh*te when he played last season and has only had one good season in his whole career and while I rate Traore, I don't think he's quite ready for this sort of level and his best performances came from playing as a striker

 

If Hazard picks up a long term injury next season we are f**ked

the fans WANT pedro, but we don't NEED him! Granted, he would be a great addition to the squad, but he isn't a necessity.

Reports in Spain suggesting United have agreed a deal.

How many players do United want exactly? I haven't seen a single transfer they are of linked to..and they will still fail, the more they mix and match the longer it will take the team to gel

van gaal's new philosophy; buy aimlessly, hope it works. if they sell di maria, fair enough, but if not then it's a waste of money because pedro won't likely get game time.

so florentino perez says bale isn't for sale at the end of the season and now utd are after him, makes sense. i think utd need to focus on defence because de gea isn't going to be around forever to bail them out. 

I don t know if van gaal has a strategic idea what he is trying to build here or if world class players are so hard to come by he just wants to buy whoever he can and work it out once they are there..in any case I don't think he is half the manager people think he is and definitely isn't on par with Jose, Jose made it clear after his last stint if he comes back he has more control on who is bought, I doubt this early and after winning the league Roman will let the board fall short on what he wants, Jose is ambitious he will get what we need to challenge in Europe

Last season we only had 2 players reach double figures...Hazard and Costa

 

Real Madrid had 4, Barcelona had 4, Bayern had 4, Arsenal had 3, Man City had 3

 

 

It's quite easy to see that it's a weak spot for us

okay, it's a weak spot maybe, but we don't know for sure until next season. people are presuming that we won't score many goals because of whom we have playing in the position, BUT, say oscar, cuadrado, willian, remy, falcao, and traore, hell, even RLC chip in with a good chunk of goals next season then we won't be worrying that we didn't sign someone like pedro.

 

i am not saying he wouldn't be a great signing and i do believe he would be a very good acquisition, especially in regards to scoring and assisting, but we have 2-3 players from last season whom may very well end up improving tenfold next season and have a huge hand in providing us with the goals and assists all the fans are craving.

 

also, not forgetting costa and hazard who both could step up even more, and considering it will be the latters 2nd season here, it's a massive likelihood that he will improve and get even better, similar to aguero, drogba, torres, suarez etc after their initial settling in period. people are sh*tting themselves because we haven't bought a "big name" signing, but lets be rational about the situation and look at the bigger picture before being melodramatic.

Strange quote from Jose. Why would Pedro hang around waiting for us to sell Moses first? Bit of an insult if you ask me.

If we really want Pedro then surely we should sign him then sell Moses.

Chelsea will reportedly offer 26 million pounds to Everton for Stones tomorrow. Moses is not included in that bid. As it is, Moses is worth at least 15 million pounds. Tottenham offered 10 m and chelsea rejected. 

 

Well, it is true that mourinho loaned him out 2 times, but it is also true that mourinho tried to get moses back in january, after moses destroyed several teams at stoke. It was moses who refused to come back because he didnt want to be on the bench. Now, Mourinho has completely refused to negotiate with anyone (Stoke and TOttenham) for Moses. I think that says it all. I expect Moses to play for Chelsea next season and be much better than Cuadrado

I read that as salah is leaving and Pedro is a replacement

He said that we don't need any wingers because we already have 5..Hazard, Willian, Cuadrado and..two of the loanees/youth players i'm guessing?

But he's also said that if we lose a player we'll bring in a replacement as we did with Cech and Drogba.

And then he said we're almost definitely getting rid of Salah.

So that means we are bringing in another winger? Or will that only be the case if he was including Salah in his "5 wingers"?
