To be honest I think they are one commanding centre back (to use FM parlance) away from having an absolutely terrifying first XI. In addition to that, if they sign maybe one more centre forward to cover Rooney they are going to be a force to behold. Man Utd are well on their way to being our main threat for the title next season, hopefully all the new signings will just take too long to gel.

Signing all those players without having any solid plan is useless. I don't believe Van Gaal have any decent plan to lift his team. Last season he bought big names, DiMaria, Falcao, Shaw and it didn't work out for them. I believed all those 3 players played worst than season before they went to Man U. We dont need to worry about Man U as long as Van Gaal is in charge.

Sadly he will be a great signing IMO.

I'm still confident we will be looking to bring in Pedro or another wide player. There's no chance Mourinho believes Moses and Cuadrado are good enough for us especially after seeing how bad Cuadrado looked last season

Pedro would be a very good signing for us I believe. Offers something different to Willian in terms of goals. I could see him being a very important player for us.

On paper they look great. Theyd win the league easily if it were based on names and talent. Fortunately this isnt FM. There will be a few unhappy campers come January

I'm watching LA galaxy vs Barcelona and damn Pedro is amazing, his ball control is top class, he's fast and full of energy. We should sign him if still there is any chance.

Another thought I've had with Pedro is (if we are in for him) what if he stays until Jan (when Turan can play for them) and we sign him then. He could give us a mid season boost (if we need it).

I really, really hope Traore is the real deal, otherwise thats a terrible RW duo for a team thats competing for the premiership title

Options for RW - Hazard, Oscar, Willian, Cuadrado, Salah, Moses, Traore, Ramires - hell, even Remy.

Options for LB - Azpilicueta (who is more natural at RB!)

 

I don't know why everyone is kicking up a fuss when other areas need strengthening more. Would another attacker be nice? Sure. Is it a necessity? Nope.

Using that logic we never really need to strengthen any position as we have a lot of options everywere. Azpi is playing LB just fine, Aké has played LB, Ivan can play there in a pinch, Zouma can play right back. We have lots of option for a position we almost never rotate.

People are talking about the RW position because its a weakspot and it has been for years, at this moment its the only position were we dont have a certified starter and we are forced to use someone out of position to deal with it.
