1. I always thought Dennis Wise was vastly overrated as a player. A good captain and decent lad but glorified by Chelsea fans because he's English.

2. I hate how the term 'Chelsea Legend' is thrown around so carelessly.

3. John Terry: Best Centre-Half in PL history and terrific leader on the pitch. Wouldn't want anyone else as captain. But I have to say his various shenanigans over the last 5 or so years tested my patience. What p*ssed me off the most though was how so many of our fans blindly defended him during the Anton Ferdinand affair. There's a video which very clearly shows JT saying what he did. I'm not saying he's a racist, I think he's a very thick person who is prone to doing stupid things. I just wish that our supporters could just drop the tribalism for one moment and at least acknowledge the mistake he made, that's all. I still love the guy and he will forever be a Legend in my eyes.

4. Grown men wearing replica tops, selfie sticks and day-tripping tourist 'fans' all irritate me to varying degrees.

5. The 'atmosphere' in the West Upper is f****** abysmal. We might laugh at Arsenal but it's as bad in the WU. Chanting and supporting the team in any way that goes beyond is frowned upon and I've had stewards actually tell me to be quiet.

6. I hate how some fans try to use Football as a means of voicing their stupid, far-right political views.

I respectfully disagree with most of your opinions, Dennis Wise is a Chelsea legend and that's not throwing the term around carelessly, he isn't overrated at all, we had different expectations back then, but he still captained us when we won quite a few trophies. There's no way you can prove what John Terry said by lip reading, you can only guess what he said, he was actually cleared in court, as for various shenanigans, I can only think of two and both were blown out of proportion. I'm with you on selfie sticks, but as for people wearing replica tops, its just a top, what's the harm in wearing one? I have a shirt collection and wear the occasional replica top, so do many other people, how this can possibly be perceived as childish or annoying is beyond me, most stadiums are filled with people wearing replica tops. I think bashing those who wear replica tops is snobbery and it seems to be a modern day thing, it wasn't frowned upon years ago, so why now? I guess wearing your teams colours isn't pc enough.

Dennis wise was a much better player then he was given credit for...very skillful with his passing and crossing....fitted in well with the foreign players when thay started to come in about mid 90`s ,when the other british players were shown up for not being anygood

wish we could play that quick one-touch passing at the opposition box when they have men back...instead of passing it around the box back and forth

Perhaps I'm being a bit harsh on Wise. I was only about 7/8 years old when he was around, so clearly my memories won't be that vivid. But as I said, I always thought he was a good captain and clearly a pivotal figure in the dressing room.

JT - Like I said, an absolute, 100% hero to me. Unquestionably. I might well shed a tear or two when he retires. But he made a bad mistake in this instance, is it is really so difficult to admit to his wrongdoing? He's not a racist, he idolised Desailly and Didier Drogba considers JT one his best mates. He's played with a plethora of players from all ethnicities over the years. But he f***ed up badly here and put the club and us fans too through a lot of sh*t as a result. I'm sorry but I just think all these counter arguments are so tenuous, it's palpable what he said.

I prefered watching us in the pre Roman days, dare I say it I prefered watching us when we were in the second division.

Jose should stop wearing tracksuits, he's starting to look very uncool with that look.

The way Lampard signed for City was disgraceful and he will always have that asterix next to his name.

I loved Gavin Peacock.

Some of these may have been said but here goes.

1) RDM was never and can never be a great manager. Good decision to move on from him but the club got the replacement wrong.

2) I really like Mikel and often feel the need to defend him.

3) Gary Cahill should not be starting if we want to consistently recycle possession and play a high line. He is an excellent back against the wall defender but that's it.

4) I believe that Courtois is now comfortably better than Cech in all goalkeeping tangibles. Cech undoubtedly has a greater understanding with the defence etc.

5) I had faith in Kalou when he was around.

6) Again, for us to evolve into a solid attacking force, we need to move on from Terry. I'm in no hurry to do that really but however good Terry is, the team has to play in a certain way to get the best out of our defence.

7) We really need world class overlapping wingbacks.

8) Sterling is vastly overhyped :) nowhere near Hazard in terms of ability. However, we shall see.

I think Aguero is comfortably the best player in the league followed by Hazard and Sanchez who are on a par.

Agreed. I think Hazard should score and assist more consistently than he does.

I think Silva is just as good as Hazard personally and better than Sanchez.

The blame for that lies with the press for going down the "You're all guilty" route, and the press complaints commission for not stamping it out.

1. Oscar most over-rated player in PL. (no awareness)

2. JM isnt likeable at all-irritating

3. RLC has ability but plays in bursts

4. Like others on here, watch other teams with envy on how they play

Watching the West Ham away supporters going ecstatic after their second goal against Arsenal made me nostalgic for the days when we were giant killers.

Now we're expected to win 90% of our matches and there are probably only two or three teams in Europe where we would be out if it celebrating a victory.

2. Does he need to be likeable? He wins things that's all that matters

4. Envy? Did you watch us last season? Seems to be some people would rather watch 'beautiful' football constantly rather than winning football. There are times to play certain ways and it's as simple as that.

Yep I preferred the "hope" years to these current "expectant" ones aswel, that period in the late 90s was wonderful.

I think he means that Oscar rarely makes that "killer" pass.  Yes, he is very good on free kicks, but his "awareness" of other players' runs seems lacking.

I am going to a family party (lots of West Scum will be there) on Friday and dread the conversation like who is higher in the league, how they beat Arsenal and we did not. Shall i confess to the mass murder now?

Disagree with that, his awareness is outstanding, he always seems able to find space and be available for a pass and to play off. If anything I would say that's the best part of his game.

Yeah why not, we won't tell, sounds like a perfectly valid act anyway considering.

Down to personal opinion but I certainly won't argue with anyone putting Silva up there. Magnificent player.

I don't get this, we played the best football in the league last season, until we started to grind out results.
