July 22, 20169 yr Hmmm.. We'll just have to see how Cuadrado does. Pedro haven set the world alight himself...
July 23, 20169 yr Pedro is miles better than Moses and CuadadroLudicrous isn't it? How many goals did Pedro score here in his first season to make him better than Moses?
July 23, 20169 yr Sell Pedro for Cuadrado. Laughable. But it's sad to think that this club would be stupid enough to do that. If that happens its Conte, not the club who made the decision. Not sure why tou would see this as an awful scenario. Its Pedro for gods sake, not like hes shifting out Hazard
July 23, 20169 yr Not going to lie, I'd rather have Moses and Cuadrado in the squad over Pedro.Even Conte will take both over Pedro. Moses is more dangerous when attacking than Pedro and if Cuadrado doesn't get into the team as a winger he is a good option as a RB. So I just don't get the hype about Pedro being more valuable than Moses and Cuadrado. Edited July 23, 20169 yr by wallosh

July 23, 20169 yr In fairness to Moses, he's a decent winger and a consistent, if unspectacular, performer. One of our better players in the Europa League a few years back. Cuadrado's first stint here was laughable... if a gentle breeze didn't shrug him off the ball he was falling over his own feet. I wouldn't currently have Pedro in our strongest XI, but implying he'd be behind these two in the pecking order is ridiculous. I'd be stunned if he was sold to accommodate either.
July 23, 20169 yr One player has won everything and the other two have won nothing You don't accidentally win everything You do when you have Lionel Messi in your team. He could have made Emile Heskey score goals. Edited July 23, 20169 yr by jack_super_class
July 23, 20169 yr One player has won everything and the other two have won nothing You don't accidentally win everything So has Mikel. Would you take him over Kantè? Taking team accolades into account when comaparing players is an exercise in futility
July 23, 20169 yr So has Mikel. Would you take him over Kantè? Taking team accolades into account when comaparing players is an exercise in futility I don't see Mikel with a world cup or european championship medal. Perdo earned his role in both the Barca and Spain national side success. Pedro is a winner, I'll take that attribute anyday
July 23, 20169 yr I don't see Mikel with a world cup or european championship medal. Perdo earned his role in both the Barca and Spain national side success. Pedro is a winner, I'll take that attribute anyday Thats because Mikel plays for Nigeria. He isn't surrounded by world class players.
July 23, 20169 yr if Cuadrado doesn't get into the team as a winger he is a good option as a RB Actual LOL.
July 23, 20169 yr One player has won everything and the other two have won nothing You don't accidentally win everything Maybe that has more to do with being a bench player in one of the most dominating club teams in history and a secondary player in a dominant Spanish national team based on that club team... Just pure facts: Victor Moses - first season at Chelsea, age 21/22 - 10 goals, 5 assists, 2478 minutes Pedro - first season at Chelsea, age 27, 9 goals, 3 assists, 2781 minutes Cuadrado had a terrible stint with us, but overall... why are you guys acting like Pedro is an elite player... Just because other guys won trophies for him? And to say Cuadrado and Moses have won nothing is a lie: Moses - Europa League 2012/2013, African Cup of Nations 2013 Cuadrado - Premier League 2014/2015, League Cup 2014/2015, Serie A 2015/2016, Copa Italia 2015/2016 And to summarize your argument: When Pedro came to us and Cuadrado left, Cuadrado won titles, while Pedro won nothing. July 23, 20169 yr Based on what? Based on the first two pre-season games. Please disregard the fact that Pedro just joined up with the team.
July 23, 20169 yr To be honest I wouldn't mind all three leaving as long as we get better replacements. However I trust Conte to make the right decision, if he wants them in the squad then so be it.
July 23, 20169 yr I wouldnt take moses or Cuadrado over pedro. Moses has been pretty average for the last 3 seasons, yes he has played okay in preseason games, but he wasnt even a decent option for west ham last year, if he wants to force his way into contention, he should be putting in performances in the premier league, which he hasnt done alot of for 3 years. Pedro did okay last season, got decent numbers in his 1st season in english football, all the while playing in a team full of problems. He is a clever footballer, and i think he will have a stronger second season. Edited July 23, 20169 yr by big blue
July 23, 20169 yr One player has won everything and the other two have won nothing You don't accidentally win everything Well, let's sell Courtois and Begovic so we can bring Valdes and make him our first choice.
July 23, 20169 yr Maybe that has more to do with being a bench player in one of the most dominating club teams in history and a secondary player in a dominant Spanish national team based on that club team... Erm, no. No he wasnt. from 2010 Pedro was first choice for the best club and national team in football, according to most people.
July 23, 20169 yr I don't see Mikel with a world cup or european championship medal. Haha strong nitpicking game. Hard to win a European championship Meldal when you are African. He has a African cup of nations championship medal though
July 23, 20169 yr One player has won everything and the other two have won nothing You don't accidentally win everything Pinto as chelsea's no.1 goalkeeper then?
July 23, 20169 yr Haha strong nitpicking game. Hard to win a European championship Meldal when you are African. He has a African cup of nations championship medal though wasn't Mikel the Captain of the Team?
July 23, 20169 yr Have you people actually watched Cuadrado play for us? I'd rather we play with a block of wood than him.
July 24, 20169 yr Have you people actually watched Cuadrado play for us? I'd rather we play with a block of wood than him. I did. I watched cuadrado play his 300 odd minutes of football spread over 12 games when we were mostly looking to close out the game after having a lead of 1-0. I watched a player from serie A struggling to make the move to a more physical and fast paced PL specially since it was a JAN transfer and he literally did not have any acclimitization time. Now let me ask you a question did you watch cuadrado play for Juve? Not just in serie A but also in cl against the likes of bayern!!! Did you watch pedro play? His mediocrity for a whole damn year? Just to put things in perspective: Pedro was below average in a team which finished 10th in PL. Pedro played 2500 odd minutes yet people are talking about the 1st season syndrome, Cuadrado played 300 odd minutes and we are already ridiculing him.
July 24, 20169 yr I don't see Mikel with a world cup or european championship medal. Perdo earned his role in both the Barca and Spain national side success. Pedro is a winner, I'll take that attribute anyday Don't see Messi with any winners medals for Argentina either...
