I haven't seen anyone else raise this before and I only just remembered, but is it just me or did he look as good as Sanchez when he was at Barca?

 

naw, sanchez was still a really good player at barca as well as pedro. pedro was probably better during the guardiola years. i think sanchez probably edges it if we're talking about the better player overall, and sanchez seems to be very well suited for the premier league, so it will be interesting to see how pedro gets on here. if you're a hard working player and a goal threat, you tend to be a success in most leagues, especially the prem.

Excellent signing now it's done. I was massively in favor of this when it looked like we would land him earlier in the summer and disappointed that it petered out. 

 

Important because as a squad we needed to freshen things up a bit and its in a problem position for us. We know we need more goals from the attacking 3 and we have gone out to do something about it. 

 

Wouldn't read to much in the trophy collection. He has never really been one the main men at Barca, waited patiently and kept seeing the club buying. This is his chance to show what he can do when handed the shirt and being told it's your's but you have to keep it. He will be keen to add to that trophy haul but this time as a key contributor.

    I could not fathom why we wouldn't take a player like this that we desperately need for such a reasonable price, and lose out to Man u  made no sense, glad it's done, we knew yesterday but there is always that element of paranoia until you see him holding his new shirt or the club making an official announcement 

    Excellent news. I imagine that the squad can only be lifted by bringing Pedro and Baba Rahman in. Pedro should light a fire under Oscar and Willian. Apparently he's a good friend of Fabregas. Plus, he already knows Azpilicueta and Costa from international duty, so he should settle in quickly.

     

    We've got real competition for places now. I really can't complain about having Hazard, Oscar, Pedro, Willian and Fabregas available for our 3!

    3 good days of training to get associated with the side will be good for him, and because of this I reckon he will start on Sunday, haven't been this excited for a signing in a long time

     

    I haven't been this excited for a signing since 12 months ago when we signed Fabregas and Costa.

    Seriously, how comfy does he look? are we sure he hasn't been here for a couple weeks? jesus!

     

    Don't think I've ever seen a player fly in, Sign and then train with a huge smile and very positive body language all within a 24hr period??!?!
