How the heck are we losing? Everton seem nothing special from the last 5 minutes I've watched it. 

 

We were much, much, much worse beforehand...

Good first 15mins, very bad second 15min, good last 15min.....lets see if we can't grab the equalizer start of the 2nd half

First half ot that half was dreadful.. Second 20mins  we've been playing really well.
No reason at all we can't get two in the second half.

Terrible defending. Mostly from Ivanovic.

Even if we somehow score again, we just look so awful defensively, every time they come forward we look like conceding again.

Much better after the goal, if we keep attacking like this we will score in the second half.

 

Matic in particular looked inspired in the last ten minutes - nothing like a ridiculous goal to lift a man's head.

Ivanovic just walked up to Naismith and allowed him to cross it in! It's shocking.

Even though Naismith shouldn't be on the pitch.. Red card for kicking ivanovic

Costa has been poor today hes more interested in looking for  FIGHT than scoring 

Let's hope second half we managed to turn this around

Honestly the comparison with Dortmund is chillingly valid.

Problem is us looking for the goal is allowing Everton to exploit the space we leave.

If we turn this around it will do our confidence a lot of good

Begovic, Zouma, Matic are doing their job, Hazard and Pedro starting to wake up but we must push harder, we have to control all the second half now. Fabregas and Ivanovic seems like tourists and not Chelsea players.

Take Fabregas off and bring Kenedy on

Problem is boys we dont need a point we need a convincing victory...this is troubled waters 

Another poor first half from us and once again it's Ivanovic that is the biggest problem. I cannot understand why he continues to start games when he is playing this badly. His defending is unbelievably bad. He doesn't try to block shots and he let's every player get a cross in against him.

 

Everton are doing exactly the same thing every other team has been doing against us this season. Attack Ivanovic and give him more space when we go forward because they know he offers nothing to us in attack.

 

If we are ever going to progress this seasonn, Mourinho must drop Ivanovic.

The difference was Dortmund lost two of their best players we haven't.

Ivanovic has been woeful again, he needs to do more stop crosses and shots, if you compare him to azpiliucueta it's night and day. When he has got forward he hasn't put in a single decent cross.

Costa hasn't been great either. Doesn't seem dangerous at the moment.

I think there is encouraging signs that hazard and matic are finding form.

We really need something from this game.

Hoping for an epic comeback 06/07 style.
