Everton v Chelsea (PL) 12/09/2015 KO 12:45 BST

Though backing players is good , Jose should have atleast replaced Ivan.

May be one last chance !

How many chances does he need? I though two games ago was his last chance. Then he got another last chance. This is his third last chance... Looking at how its going looks like Ivanovic will get 34 more last chances in the premier league alone.

Why do we always line up like we are scared against all weaker teams? Why so defensive with all teams?

We should be going for these games instead of cowering and playing ultra defensively. We have some great players but they don't get to express themselves.

We should be playing attacking football like Bayern/Barca/Real etc.

Why not:

-------------------Begovic

--------Dave, Zouma, Terry, Baba

---------Fabregas, Matic, RLC

Pedro,Hazard/D.Costa,Kennedy/Hazard

Just watch Jose pre match interview and am not sure Jose has been watching the same matches everyone else has

I read something yesterday, jose was saying the score lines so far this season have been undeserved and that he is not worried as we are playing well, the man is either in denial or on another planet.

I hope not, but i fully expect kone and lukaku to target ivanovic and pull his pants down

Everton aren't playing with any width so I doubt Ivanovic is going to be targeted or found out in this game.

I'd expect Lukaku to start wide right.

Pretty much the lineup I expected. Not bothered how we play just grind a result out, boring is good sometimes.

Here is a cheeky thought, the team sheet is given but the line up isn't set in stone, Zouma right back, Ivan CB??? Ok fine I'm clutching at straws

Formations aren't submitted anyway. Just a list of names.

Have you not been watching us? A midfield of Fabregas and Matic just won't cut it away from home against the good sides, we're way too exposed and I'm happy with what he's done, means Matic won't be doing two jobs instead of just his own

I'd expect Lukaku to start wide right.

Well martinez and lukaku wouldnt, so . . .yeah . . .

Hes left footed, wtf is he gonna do as a left winger?

Unless you mean hes gonna start as a rw going up against azpi, which makes your post irrelvant

We should probably just forfeit the game now

(...)

Pathetic isn't it, embarrassing lack of backbone from some of our fans.

Jesus, imagine them before the Munich game! (I'm not having a go Plo, I still love you baby!).

We've got an amazing team on paper, we should win this.

Haha don't worry man, I was being sarcastic. To be honest I think we've probably picked the best lineup for the job.

Although admittedly before the Munich game I was sh*tting bricks.

Season HAS to start now, starting with Everton tomorrow.

2-0, Diego Costa and John Stones own goal!

That own goal would be up there with the Gerrard and Riise own goals.

Bringing in Mikel to shore up the midfield is all good and well, but it really blunts our midfield going forward. Fab needs to show up or it could be a long 90 minutes. I reckon it'll be 1-0 to either team, or even a 0-0.

F##k me José looks like he hasnt slept for a week...

Can't blame him with the way the team has been playing.....especially Ivan..Jose' has a few nightmares this week I suspect.
