I think rlc has done enough to keep his place, the back 5 did okay, and I think having the speed in there will help us press.

Oscar from the right, where he has had some fantastic games for brazil and also for us under benitez.

As much as I love jt, I just don't think the team is strong enough to cover for his lack of pace at the moment.

I hate the thought of losing to Arsenal - probably about the same level as Jose hates the thought of losing to Wenger. I think if he played some of the players from the other night and we lost, then at least he tried something different. If he brings the likes of Ivan back in and goes back to playing Fabregas deep and we get beat, then he will face a lot of flack.

 

It's a massive game and we have to get it right.

Any chance the penalty miss is the last straw that will snap Eden back into some form. It seems like that could have been rock bottom for him, I really hope it gives him the impetus to turn it around.

Ramires the right sided shuffler, alongside Matic and hopefully Loftus Cheek when we dont have the ball and up with Oscar and Hazard when we  have possession. Loftus Cheek to start over Fabregas for me.

Isn't Kenedy's preferred position on the right though?

Doubt he'll see a minute of playing time but would be an unknown quantity to their into the mix.

Agreed, I think we are all dreading tomorrow's team being the same tired old formula.  If he tries something new, and we lose, so be it.  I'm sure he'll be vilified either way.  Right now, I'd for certain take a 1-1 draw and move on.

 

I think Brana will start, and we'll see Ramires on the rigth to provide cover for Ivan (who'll be our most forward player anyway)

I think Pedro and Willian are both ruled out due to injury.  Although Jose did seem to only confirm Willy, and Pedro as a possibility

Going to have to miss this one as i am on a Thames cruise with my wife (a bloody gooner).Hope she has her costume with her cause shes going in if they win lol
