The bench is so unbalanced as well, 1 CB, 3 CMs, 2 Strikers. No fullbacks or natural wingers..

I'm a lot less confident than I was 10 minutes ago. JT on the bench is a ridiculous decision, Fabregas in midfield is craziness.

 

Must be something in his contract to play every game unless injured....should have had RLC in there or even Ramires

I don't even think Terry has been that bad, obviously he hasn't been good so far but when compared to Ivanovic he has been great. I really am shocked and a bit annoyed that Mourinho hasn't noticed how Ivanovic at RB has been the biggest problem with out defense so far this season.

As for Ivan, well, we all knew he'd be right back in the team for this. Big call leaving JT though, massive game for young Kurt

I think it was a call between Ivan and Baba and I can't fault Jose for choosing the former for this game especially. I'm more worried about the midfield pairing of Matic and Cesc. They could get overrun today.

Really? His form this season has been the worst in the team, against Sanchez? He'll be taken apart like every other game this year. I hope I'm wrong but I don't feel confident at all.

Quite possibly THE worst time to bring Ivanovic back into the team. I guess we all knew he was going to bring his favourites back versus actually playing the percentages.

 

Hugely disappointed tbh.

If Ivan starts having a bad game there is no option on the bench to change it.... Three central midfielders though. Makes no sense to me.

If ivanovic has another mare and we lose again, Jose has to be seriously questioned.

JT wasn't even on the pitch for half the goals we conceded this season, he was directly at fault for one at most and was the better CB in every game he played. Madness.

Expected Ivanovic to play, don't think that he should though.

Leaving Terry out is a massive error for me.

Would have kept the same back 4 as Wednesday. Pedro for Willian. and Costa starting.  Maybe drafted Matic back in but thought RLC was excellent, irrespective of opponent's quality

I think José is just being stubborn here, he just doesn't want to admit he is making a mistake by keeping Ivan in the team.

He shown faith in Ivanovic against Crystal Palace and Everton though and he was still really really bad. It has got to the point now where he just must be dropped. I am baffled that Mourinho thinks that Terry is a bigger problem than Ivanovic. I'm very very confused by this move.

Not confident at all with that lineup, but we'll see what transpires...

 

Hopefully we'll see Pedro tracking back to help Brano, but for 90 minutes it's a given that he'll be exposed 1 v 1 at some point.

results wise im not too bothered today, expecting a draw at best. Most important is that our players show some form, we get our high pressing game going and start to look like last season's team

This Sanchez/Ivanovic matchup should be interesting.

 

Neither have been in good form this season, hope this isn't the game where Alexis gains form.
