Need a near 1st team for this, maybe similar to last week in the CL.

Banks's is tight little ground, but really god pitch and they will play from the back to feet if we let them, so expect plenty of good play from them

Danger men to watch for are BRadshaw who is small and quick and works really hard and will keep our centre backs honest

Sawyers is clever player behind the striker, quite classy and good shot but can be caught in possession. Mantom is central midfield and Good range passing and movement, he also gets forward. Also watch for Lalkovic who is still tricky winger, and Morris who is all left foot but plays on right wing.

Demetrou is right wing back, and pacey going forward and links play and played against Eden for Cyprus recently

TBH I am quite worried about this one as they are on good run and this is big big game

Blue boys to win by odd goal.......

But we need to be on it

i'm sure the manager wants the streak to continue without the drama of a replay

cannot see wholesale changes to accommodate

fringe players, usually with Chelsea in these kind of ties is that they underestimate the opposition

struggle, concede a goal and the heavy hitters are brought on in the 2nd half to rescue the situation

Think JT, baba, RLC  & Falcao will come in, but  the rest of the line up .....?

I agree its foolish to underestimate an opponent however it is probably one of the poorest we will face this season. Why buy djilobodji or have young players in our squad if we aren't going to use them? possibly give them a start if we win our champions league group early.

Thanks everyone for the help

You don't get replays in the league cup

I'm sure Walshall will be up for it, not often they get the league champion visiting their home ground. Narrow pitch, bouncy turf, hard tackling, the kind of things we should expect, won't be that easy. In a way, it's tougher than playing a PL side who will rest 7-8 players. I think Jose will play a strong team, we should see Baba and RLC in the starting 11, probably not Kennedy or Tarore. Momentum is what we need, not a lose and doubt in player's mind.

Jose has hinted at a pretty strong side. I expect we will see the likes of Baba, and RLC starting again, alongside some of the more experienced squad members. I would like to see Ola Aina get a run out at right back but that might make out defence a little too inexperienced.

How about:

Begovic

-

Ola Aina

Papy

JT

Baba

-

RLC

Ramires

-

Traore

Oscar

Kenedy

-

Falcao

cant see him dropping cahill, dave, and brana all at the same time.  No chance.

If Jose's comments are anything to go by i think we'll be closer to full strength with a couple of key players rested.

Begovic, Dave, Zouma, JT, Baba, Mikel, RLC, Ramires, Oscar, Hazard, Falcao/Remy

Not sure. I used to use them in work a lot.

Cricfree, first row and stadium-live seem to be the ones that worked best, excluded the annoying popups.

I have a feeling you're on the right track. I would love to see Baba, Terry, RLC and one of Falcao or Remy to get game time!

They all need it after not playing against Arsenal on the weekend. I expect us to win this but Walsall will be up for the challenge without question.

I would like to see Djilobodji and Traore, Kenedy also in the second half, if they aren't out on loan, they have to play sometime, same applies with Blackman.

Did well against Arsenal and now we need to kick on and go on a run, capital one cup or not. An upset against a league one side will be a nightmare with st James' looming on Saturday

Dave----Papy----Zouma----Baba

---------RLC-------Rambo---------

Kenedy-----Oscar------Traore

-------------Falcao-----------------
