I dont understand how Jose get's the idea of starting Fabregas every game. Had he made these changes a few weeks ago, we wouldnt have been in this situation.

The learning from this performance is that we needo to drop Cesc

We need to be better and so does Kevin Friend. Some protection. Costa out, Zouma, Hazard and Oscar all been treated already.

Chelsea are playing much better overall, if we can improve the final delivery in the 2nd half we will win 3-0

Best half of the season so far (against EPL teams). Defence looks verygood, Oscar and Hazard flying.

We have played well, probably one of the best we have all season, however, we still don't really look like scoring.

How you figure?

It's hardly all down to Cesc for goodness sake

 

just the fact that we have more energy in the middle of the park and holding on to the ball better? 

Good half, fizzled out towards the end though.

 

Mikel has been excellent. Hazard in the middle and Oscar out left seems to be getting the best out of both of them, hope to see more of it. Baba has looked great too although he hasn't been tested all that much.

Decent first half from us, passing well, just lacking the finish. I am very critical of Mikel usually but there is no doubt that he is bringing us something we have been lacking in DM, calmness and tidy passing. Mikel's positioning has been very good so far too, and his first touch has been bang on. Maybe playing him and Matic together is something Mourinho can look at. Matic likes to burst forward a lot and he leaves gaps, his tackling seems to be a bit erratic at times too. Playing the 2 of them together would make our midfields stronger that's for sure.

One of our best halfs in quite a while.  Let's go on and win.  3-0!

he's only booked one Chelsea player so far ... he can expect a fine from the FA if he continues in that in the second half

something seems off with a couple of our players, especially hazard. the passing seems lackadaisical without much thought, and then there are those pathetic back heel passes that oscar, willian and hazard keep trying to pull off with little success. just keep possession and pass the ball smarter ffs. 

Don't want to tempt fate but we've looked a lot better against the usual brutal Stoke type football.

 

Just need to convert some chances. Come on Chelsea, let's get this season started.

Not too bad. Some smooth play at times. Energetic, Hazard looking sharp, Oscar too and Mikel.

Only Ramires, despite his energy his Fellaini like ability on the ball just has you waiting for things to go wrong.

All in all, not too bad.

Azpi and RLC would be nice, but it won't happen.

Aha. Thanks. I thought it was a computer thingie, but it's a tv gadget thingie.
I still have one of those big hunchback tv sets, 10 years old. Hopelessly outdated, and it keeps on workjng. It will probably die during the one excellent Chelsea match this season :-)
