Some players have given up ghost and I don't want that at my club. Some other players are too happy to collect a wage whilst playing atrocious and happy to speak to the media about the team. Others are just past their prime and can move on. JT deserves a coaching role. Oscar was the most difficult decision, he's stagnated beyond belief at Chelsea and unless new management can get the best from him, we may aswell cash in now.

Difficult times but a good appointment and financial backing will get us back to where we belong.

could get him on the cheap provided he doesn't sign a new contract.. maybe not cheap, but if he's at the end of his contract then it should be significantly lower than what everton paid us...

I would also cash in on Oscar he just really has not kicked on like I thought he would, when at his best the whole team plays some great football. We can easily get £25-30m for him at his age and if his consistency doesn't improve then I'd be inclined to take it and get a good replacement.

What we need to do is sell the players that have been poor this season which leaves us with...hold on... Willian. End of list. Replace with better players.

I see four positions that we really need to strengthen:

 

Central midfield: Fabregas and Matic are unable to control a midfield, Ramires and Mikel are poor options.

Central defence: Terry and Cahill are to slow

Right Back: Ivanovic is to slow and struggles against fast wingers.

Striker: Costa with injury problems, mental and professional problems considering he was overweight at start of the season.

Unlikely, but would like to have Benteke here. Wanted him in the summer.

I don't think Liverpool would even sell to us and if I'm honest I don't think Benteke's all that.

Benteke does seem to get injured, but he is a legitimate aerial threat and a physical presence - something thay isn't available with this current squad. The rumours suggest Klopp doesn't see him fit into his style of play and that he could be sold to fund other transfers.

Hiddink might see him as a Drogba-type front man that served him well last time around.

With Lukaku, he has a desire to play for Chelsea which is the one major thing I like about him.

I wonder they could be tempted with a player plus money deal. Someone like Victor Moses, maybe.

Didn't show much of that desire when he asked for a move.

We need to start implementing first option to buy players back.

Unrealistic expectation? Naivity of youth? Overzealousness to represent his nation at the world cup? One loan too many and the injustice of Torres?

Everything he says still indicates he has strong feelings for Chelsea and that he would love to be here, leading the line.

Still don't think he's that good, personally, but he's 22, so plenty of time to improve.
