December 20, 201510 yr Unrealistic expectation? Naivity of youth? Overzealousness to represent his nation at the world cup? One loan too many and the injustice of Torres? Everything he says still indicates he has strong feelings for Chelsea and that he would love to be here, leading the line. Still don't think he's that good, personally, but he's 22, so plenty of time to improve. Interestingly, only five players to have scored 50 PL goals before reaching age 23: Fowler, Owen, Rooney, Ronaldo and...Lukaku. Illustrious company, indeed. I agree. He moved to Everton because he knew hed get games, not because he didnt want to be here per say.He still wants to play for a big club, hes said that and Chelsea are included. Money is money no matter who it comes from. Hes still a chelsea fan, I wouldnt be surprised if he comes back at some point. Edited December 20, 201510 yr by TheChelseaBlues

Think his dealer does not have too many years left there. Offer him the chance to be first choice and he would jump on it imo. Can also join our cl squad.
December 20, 201510 yr How about Eden for say Isco and Varannne... Varane is actually bad, and we have much better players in our current team and on loan. Hazard = Bale+Isco+40mln.

December 20, 201510 yr I can't see Lukaku wanting to come back here Same here - what frustrates me is that I think he could been just as effective as Diego last season had he just been given a chance... I think he may end up at Bayern or United Edited December 20, 201510 yr by the special one
December 20, 201510 yr How about Eden for say Isco and Varannne... For Bale and Varanne would bite their hands off. Even a straight swap with Bale would make us the winner.
December 20, 201510 yr We also have to wait and see how much money, if any at all, Roman wants to plow in to the transfer kitty. He is going to have to put down a LOT of cash on the new stadium work if the plans go through there. So may be a case of continuing the sell to buy policy, even if we have no concern of FFP with our chances of Europe next season looking somewhat limited. If it remains sell to buy, letting Eden go would give Guus, or whoever takes over in the summer, a large cash injection for losing one player. Admittedly our most talented player, but still how much would Real or PSG be willing to spend? Bale money perhaps. If so enough to buy Lukaku and Stones, or whichever couple of players they want or 10 Daves lol (or one Pogba...). Edited December 20, 201510 yr by axman2526
December 20, 201510 yr From the looks of it the managers he wants to bring in will need a lot to overhaul things. Best stick with Holland or Jose if hes not ready to spend
December 22, 201510 yr If Drogba is at the club, Lukaku would kill to come back. He is his idol and they have been in constant contact as a sort of mentor. I'd also bet that he has a buyout clause in his Everton contract. (signed for 28m, 40m buyout maybe?) He (and his agent) seem too ambitious to have left themselves open to the possibility of being held at Everton for longer than they would choose.
December 24, 201510 yr How about Eden for say Isco and Varannne... Isco would be a good shout, especially now that he has fallen out with Rafa
December 24, 201510 yr Wanyama-He put in a transfer request last window didnt he He has the industry to make our midfield tick and is certainly an upgrade on Ramires Really do not see how Wanyama is an upgrade. When Ramires is fit he has a great engine on him. Very underrated player in my opinion. Since he has come in for Cesc recently we have looked a lot better in the middle.
December 24, 201510 yr I'd absolutely love Marchisio at Chelsea. He has every attribute to succeed in England. Doubt he will ever leave Juve though.
December 24, 201510 yr marquinhos, stones, teixera and matuidi would be a brilliant jan window if they could all happen. i doubt it, but you never know. Isn't there a three transfers limit for the winter window?
December 25, 201510 yr Having a bit more of a think it really depends on who is willing to not play CL football next year but is in it for the long term. We also really need someone on every line bar attacking midfield. For me: 1. Laporte/Stones (CL eligible) or Benatia 2. William Carvalho to put pressure on Matic (I see RLC being better further forward) 3. Would love to get Aubameyang for his pace but I doubt he would come. So perhaps Texeira will playa bit more of a withdrawn striker role ala Griezmann at Atletico. We can dream right?
December 26, 201510 yr I'd absolutely love Marchisio at Chelsea. He has every attribute to succeed in England. Doubt he will ever leave Juve though. Marchisio would be good, I've been clamouring for a push for him for years now; but as you say I think he's gonna stay there for a while.
December 26, 201510 yr Blaise Matuidi is the one. A proper replacement for Lampard. A replacement for Lampard? Are we talking about the Blaise Matuidi that has scored as much in his professional career that Frank used average per season? Blaise Matuidi is a replacemwnt for Lampard in the same way Andy Carroll is a proper replacement for Drogba
December 26, 201510 yr Matuidi is a superb player. Like Ramires except consistent and with passing ability. One of the closest (along with Vidal) to Bison in his prime. But PSG would never ever sell him.

Blaise Matuidi is a replacemwnt for Lampard in the same way Andy Carroll is a proper replacement for Drogba No, I meant in the desire, energy and commitment levels as well as that ability to pick a great pass. We won't find somebody who can score from midfield like Lampard could, he was a once in a lifetime player like that.
