We'll have to trust Jose on this one. He clearly has a plan - just hope it comes off!

COME ON THE CHELS!!!

Going out for a family meal today so can't watch.  As it happens, our internet speed has died so I wouldn't have been able to anyway. Very nervous, as always.

Hazard who hasn't scored for 31 hours and 9 minutes, is our striker.

We're going for the 0-0 lads.

Put your seatbelts on and prepare for the excitement that is Chelsea, parking the bus.

Had a feeling Jose would go with something a bit different today. Big call to go without any real physicality in attack.

I suppose most of our play is with the ball on the deck, it's playing to the strengths of our best forward players, it could work.

Diego Costa just doesn't look fit to me. In a game like this where taking your chances will be so so crucial, due to the form Spurs are in, I don't think he would have done the job up there today. Everything slows down when it comes through him, and I think the pace in the front four today could cause Spurs serious problems.

I hope

Chelsea subs today: Amelia, Djilobodji, Baba Rahman, Mikel, Loftus-Cheek, Kenedy, Diego Costa.

Holy sh*t, he's alive.

Anyway, that's a very interesting lineup. Hopefully, we can get something out of this.

COME ON CHELSEA!

It'll most likely be Pedro upfront.

hmm interesting, no pure striker, just like arsenal away last season.

I'd forgotten about that game was it Oscar in the false 9 role for that one? I remember him getting clattered by Ospina and Didier came on for him at half time.

I'm not sure if the false nine will exactly work out, but having Oscar to aid Matic and Fabregas will at least help us to not get overrun in midfield.

Costa on bench gets the headlines but Real kick in the teeth for remy that he doesn't even make the bench

His wife expecting a baby today!! Im more annoyed traore didnt make the bench

Don't think we will miss Costa, he is never in the right place at the right time at the moment but knowing our luck it will be the only time Ivan will be capable of putting a good cross in :face_palm:

Perfect opportunity to play Traore as a 9 & send a message to Costa and he is has bottled it as usual.

Not that I'm opposed to bringing Traore into the first team, but starting him today would've been crazy. Baptism of fire under the spotlight for the lad, and if he didn't play an absolute stormer Jose would be slaughtered for it.

Strange you think Jose has bottled it fior not starting Traore in a game of this importance unyet he had the balls to drop Costa who is clearly our number one striker and scored in his last league game...I'd have though Costa starting could have been seen as Jose bottling it after the little spat they had in the last game.

You just have to look at Kane with Spurs & see what happens when you have a little faith in youth, we would never know if Traore would have sunk/floated because Jose never takes a chance. That is difference between young players like Bale, Sterling, Kane, Alli etc making it & ours never breaking through.

Fully expect Jose to bring on Costa at the 50min tops.
