Guus presents himself so well compared to Jose. Jose used to master the media but I feel he lost it abit. Its a shame to say it but It's refreshing to have a manager that is no fuss.

so with remy and falcao confirmed still unfit, excited to finally see bamford, hopefully he does well with this very rare chance

4-0

Remy and falcao have been on and off injury all season, unable to play much at all.

The chel board would be crazy to send bamford away on loan again, give him selection in the team and let the confidence grow in the young fella, training with fab, pedro, willian, would be good for him.

Even when he was at the last club all he would talk about and post on media was Chelsea, this kid is True Blue.

So lets hope Patrick Bamford get his chance for the rest off the season.

Guus actually answers the questions and there is no underlying agenda. Guus is a no nonsense man which is great to see... Again.

I hope we play like it is a final and against a great opponent. We need to open the gates and this is a great opportunity to do that.

Wouldn't be surprised to see very few, if not no, youth players tomorrow. I can see Hiddink just wanting to make sure we win.

As others have said a full team of youth players isn't necessary, but seeing Loftus-Cheek, Rahman and Kenedy would be nice.

I for one would like to see Bamford get some game time if possible.

I agree I dont think Guus will throw all the kids on. If RLC doesnt start at least I'll be very disappointed though. Would be expecting to see the likes of Bamford on the bench but getting some game time if all going well.

I think we will more or less see a strong line up not too many surprises, Guus will want to keep the momentum running and that's fair enough!

I'm sure we'll be going in quite strong. The reason is we need to build on our 1st team confidence. If we build a lead, I'm sure we'll be subbing 2-3 younger ones, so I'm expecting our sub list to have some younger names on the list.

Can't explain how much I want Bamford to get a run out today. I agree with most posts that we'll probably see a strong team with a few changes (eg, Baba, Rami) but if we get a few goals then bring on the kids I say

We need to play this like a final, come out of the blocks quick and score early. Keeping a clean sheet will be a massive boost as well.

Starting lineup

Begovic

Dave Zouma JT Baba

Rami Matic

Willian Oscar Pedro

Finally game day guys(seems like its been ages since we last played !)...hoping the youngsters get some playing time today would love to see a good mix of "old" & youth on the pitch later feeling pleasantly positive 4-0 to the blues :) KTBFFH!!!!

Anyone know if this is on TV? Was hoping for it to be on BBC but turns out it's not?

Its on BT sport.

Guss will field a very strong team he sees this as a competition we can win and he will want to win it. This should be ours to win we have the team to do so easily. He will not make the same mistake we made last season so look for a largely unchanged side. This should be a good chance to build on the foundation we set and get further traction on our confidence i will be happy with 3-0 but if we go out and put 5 or 6 past these guys i can bet your bottom dollar a few teams will be sitting there looking nervous especially the teams we play next. We need to beat the fear of playing Chelsea back into teams that's the only way to do it. Teams need to come to Stamford Bridge thinking a draw is a win and not think they actually have a chance of winning. It's time we make it fortress Stamford Bridge again you come here to get beat.

I think we'll use one max two young players today. Guus is just in the doors and he is looking for a more permanent starting XI instead of worrying about the clubs future. If he does so I completely understand. He has instructions from the top to try and make top four and put everything in FA cup and CL. He has very little time to do so.

Begovic

Azpi   Zouma  Cahill   Baba

Matic    MIkel

Ramires   RLC   Pedro/Kenedy

Costa

My guess.
