Boring ,Guus what the f#ck two dm again.

not one player performed tonight mikel matic oscar fabregas woeful ,costa dave zouma ivan not much better only terry was ok and i will say it again if willian had a football brain he would be world class but he hasnt .

Shame that we never played all our subs, especially given that we have Man Utd this Sunday.

Also, what happened to Costa staying in the area and using his focus on being in the right positions?  Today he was back to fighting, and even cost a brilliant build up by pushing their defender down off the play.  He needs to stay in the area, because he can't dribble for toffee, and tries to take players on which costs an easy pass to teammates in good position

Bit of a tricky game today, they did defend like anything shutting us down near the 18 yrd box, Willian could not get close down the right hand side.

Hazard and Costa were so close to scoring but that's how it unfolded.

Would of liked to see oscar subbed late to give fresh legs to push for the last 15 minutes, just my thoughts anyway.

Suppose a draw is better than a loss.

Was impressed to see JT serge the box in the last 5 minutes to force a scoring chance.

Blue Passion.

We seem to need 6 defenders against Watford, how many against The Mancs and PSG? I feel sorry for people that paid to watch that crap. All I could think when I looked at our midfield was Frank Lampard, Frank Lampard.

COSTA STOP DRIFTING ONTO THE f**kING WING FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE. Also to echo what others have said, I didn't mind the 2 DM approach against a very physically strong side but Hiddink got the subs all wrong, Hazard should have come on far earlier, probably at HT as should have Kennedy and probably one of RLC or Traore.

I know I made this point before but this really was a garbage football match and a contemptible first half display from us.

Our away fans once again deserve top props for their display through it all.

A point closer to safety, we played like a mid table team content with our lot. The sooner we get to 40 the better, our seasons future lies with the cups.

After the first half of the season, a mid table finish is fine. In 5 years, Chelsea fans will remember this as a disappointing season rather than humiliating catastrophic season. Other teams' fans will remember this as a season where Chelsea started off disastrously but got better and ended up, hmm, it was somewhere in the middle, I don't remember exactly where because I stopped paying attention when they stopped losing.

There were lots of positives about that game so I don't know why people are so negative. We should of (and almost did) win the match , we are improving. That's 10 games undefeated now.

I think this is the best quote read today from WAGNH ... perfectly said ...

Perhaps the biggest criticism leveled at Hiddink today, other than his once again flaring reluctance to not only throw on the kids when there's very little to lose but also to actually use all his subs, was his delay in introducing Eden Hazard. An obvious move that unsurprisingly changed the entire complexion of the match, yet one only made in the final 15 minutes.

Ivanovic could've left for a free in the summer, now he commands a fee so it made sense to retain him. JT doesn't really have much value to other clubs but he absolutely should've been given a new one.

Cahill, I have no idea about his contract situation.

As a financial asset to the club Ivan is worthless on a one year deal. Currently outside the transfer window means we couldn't sell him until the Summer, at which point he'll be 6 months from being out of contract and at that point he will be able to talk to other teams about signing as a free agent when his deal expires.

No team is going to cough up any sort of fee if they can get him for nothing in 6 months time.

That really was puzzling.

First half, despite us being under the cosh a lot, was quite an enjoyable game. End to end and boy did their pace case cause us problems. It underlined why we have to question Matic & Mikel as our future DM's because they were getting absolutely roasted.

Thankfully, they seemed to run out of steam and I thought we bossed the second half with Fabregas getting more & more influential. IF we had brought Hazard on early and then also thrown on Traore and possibly Kenedy, I think we would have bagged all 3 points, so it was very frustrating to be as negative as we were.

The added frustration is what do we really have to lose? We're not going for the title, not going to reach top four, we're not really in a relegation battle...why not just go for it? Even if the aim was to keep it tight, as misguided as it seems, at least give Hazard half an hour off the bench.

This is what i was saying yesterday. We can't win the league, we won't be getting into the European spots and are now 8 points above relegation, the pressure is off, go for the win. Give the fans some entertainment to look forward too when they go to watch league games.

The first half was quite embarrassing for us, and they were all over our midfield and defence. The second half I thought it was more decent from our side and our players showed some pace and intensity. Now, I don't understand why they keep playing Fabregas at the front when he has to go behind Matic and Mikel to get the ball. Also, I think the fact that Costa has to drop to the wings very often to get the ball is really frustrating. He should be all the time down the middle and in the box fighting his position and creating spaces for William, Oscar, Hazard, Fabregas and the likes. Why doesn't Guus stop playing two DMs and bring down Fabregas (despite the fact that his denfeding is very lame) with Mikel. Also, why not try Azpilicueta on the right and Baba on the left? At least we could have more speed and depth on the wings to cross balls to the box. I may be wrong, of course, but I think we could be faster like that. And once Pato is on form, try him out with Costa.

Totally agree mate.

All we did last night was try and hold possession, which we did do, we had loads of the ball especially second half.

Yes it all looks rather pretty and dainty, but it's so ineffective, so last season, so predictable.

ticcy taccy possession haha..........

One of the most frustrating parts of last night for me was how Matic and Ivan saw a lot of the ball and yet both were really poor in possession and did little with it. All players will lose or give away the ball at times, but the percentage for those two last night was unforgivable at this level. I thought getting rid of Ramires would see the end to that but oh no, Matic & Ivan have stepped up on losing the ball.

Disppointed with Willian last night too. Had some good runs and showed some great footwork but created very little and his corners just seem to get worse each game.

It baffles me how we do not have one player that is capable of taking a good corner. Put in an extra 20mins after each training session and surely these guys should be able to take a decent corner.
