PSG vs. Chelsea (CL) 16/02/16 KO: 19:45 BST

Really good performance, prob best this year. Shame we couldn't hold on to the draw but that's what you get with Cahill. There's always a mistake in him and he showed with Cavani's goal.

Thought Baba was excellent, brilliant performance. Solid and assured. See what happens when you trust players Jose.

I think it will be tight in the second leg but this will give us a lot of confidence. Our passing was excellent. Just need to take our chances and be ruthless.

The only thing that surprises me is the difference in form in the second half, they were all over the place running like madmen and our players were already looking tired!

Probably because most of their players were rested for their last league game. And they had a stonger bench so were able to bring on fresh legs.

What will the end of the unbeaten streak do to team morale?

What will the end of Costa's streak of great performances do to him?

The impact of the loss tonight could have a greater impact than the numbers suggest.

I thought 3-1 before the game, so I'll take 2-1, not a bad result, obviously though we have to start quick in the second leg and we concede another one then it's going to be very tough. The City game looks a little more important now with this out the way, lose that and this will be one rotten week, then on to next season.

No comlaints here. We were under a lot of pressure at times and soaked it up. Played some good attacking football apart from costas dribbling. Was a bit confused with Oscar coming on as I thought Kennedy would have been better. Bring it on at the Bridge.

We're still in it...just. PSG took over in the second half and we looked very tired at the end. I was shouting for the whistle for a while. Great save from Courtois at the death, keeps us in it. Some great defensive work tonight. Well done Chelsea.

Absolutely disgusted with that. Both of their goals were completely avoidable but that shouldn't mask an indifferent performance from us.

I don't think there has been much of an improvement under Guus

WHAT???

Just? 1-0 and we are through...

I'm happy enough with that, mainly because we actually had a go at them at times tonight and created chances rather than just sit back for the whole game (though we did that too). 2 soft goals cost us tonight but we have an excellent chance in the 2nd leg, with JT available hopefully to help shore up the backline.

WHAT???

I think people may be taking this the wrong way. While I don't feel the performance was great, I also feel that both of their goals could have been easily dealt with. I'm not saying we played shockingly

Willian should start at number 10 ahead of Oscar all the time. He's so hard to catch when he turns and starts driving through the middle.

We can beat them at Stamford Bridge. They've played well in the second half and still won by only 1. The good thing is that we need to start with an attacking attitude.

It's no surprise that the players were tired. Look at the schedule they've had and the mental exhaustion. PSG has played even more games in a short time, but they were against weaker sides with absolutely zero pressure.

The human body has limits, even the huge outliers.

And now Manchester City in 5 days. :greysweat:
