Chelsea vs. Manchester City (FAC) 21/02/16 KO: 16:00 GMT

Featured Replies

Hazard has to be benched, his form this season is shocking. My selection would be.

Courtois

Dave

Cahill

Ivan

Baba

Matic

Fabregas

Willian

Oscar

Pedro

Costa

With thoughts of bringing on kenedy and traore if need be.

A tough one whichever man city team gets to play.....should scrape thru as a 2 1 win....Found out recently my neighbour whom ive greeted politely for 17 years and lost the odd fiver to in chelsea v man city bets, and is himself in his 70s, is an old Kippax boy..I was surprised at this elder gents stories.

Pellegrini still whining like a bitch, even suggesting fans shouldn't pay to watch cos 'it's not a real game' cos he will play a young team due to champions league match...look mate, we've been there many more times than you, got the t-shirt...as top club, you won't get any help with fixtures in this country, so stop making excuses and get on with it

Man City fans really don't seem confident for this one which is a bit of a worry if our lads get complacent.

From my point of view though, this should be the easiest game we've had all season. Anything less than a win is going to be a disappointment. We've got no pressure on us, no game after this until next week, City have two bigger games in the space of a week, we're at home and their coach seems to have lost a little bit of his focus.

Sure they're still a good team but I expect them to play a lot of back-ups.

Just go out there today, give the supporters something to get excited about and get the result. You won't have a better chance for the next few months.

If they are playing there kids i think it gives us a chance to do the same. Its a no win situation if we play a full strength team. If we win, it was expected and they have excuses at the ready. If we dont win then its embarrassing for all.

Not talking about wholesale changes but a few players could do with a rest and it would be nice to see him trust fringe players. I would go:

Tibo

Dave

Miazga

Cahill

Baba

Matic

RLC

Oscar

Kenedy

Hazard

Traore

Players like Willian, Cesc and costa will benefit from a rest.

Game Day!!!  ::ChELSeAFaN::

Should be a good game - City playing their B team and us knowing winning this cup is realistically the best opportunity to saving our season!!

Hoping to see Traore, RLC & Kenedy (like most of you here!)

Also, would love for Hazard to have a good game, play hard with intensity and bag a goal or two... He NEEDS to set up to the plate, and no better game to get back back in it!

Exciting game ahead!

Come on Lads!!!

KTBFFH!

I'm expecting them to have a lineup like this;

Caballero

Zabaleta

Otamendi/Humphries

Demechelis

Kolarov

Fernando

?

Celina

Garcia

Barker

Iheanacho

Which isn't that bad of a side but one we should still beat.

And we were all lamenting drawing City when the draw was made...

I understand though, they have 3 big fixtures lumped together. They have to travel down to London, then fly out to Kiev which I'm sure the CL is their number 1 priority, then back down to London for the final all in 1 week.

One of those 3 had to give and luckily for us it's this one. Although if it was me I'd have put full strength against Chelsea and Liverpool and tried my luck against Kiev with some kids, after all it's a 2 legged tie.

I wouldn't say I'm confident of winning this one, but I am optimistic.

A win today and we wouldn't be back to our best, but the embarrassment of the early season would be well behind us.

Dont really get this post. This is our best chance of silverware this season, we must go all out. We do not need to rest anyone this game, we have a couple of weeks before psg, we can rest players in the league. I would rather come 10th in the league and win the fa cup, than 7th or 8th and win nothing.
