Why would Simone leave one of the best clubs in the world currently to join mid-table Premier League? We are in a rut atm, manager changes and what not. Conte is not a bad manager and in my opinion he should be able to bring our level up compared to the mid-table and relegation form earlier in the season.

i am sure conte would have been pleased to have seen the intensity put into that match vs spurs. it shows we do still have that fire inside us, we just need to bring it out next season.

Would make sense if Lollichon 'found' Cech/Courtois? Cech rates him so can understand the club's position. I'd have no qualms if Courtois leaves because of Lollichon, as much as I want him to stay Courtois always struck me as the pompous type, probably likes to think he's better than he actually is and doesn't need to waste his time with Lollichon's coaching methods (casting aspersions, I know).

Conte really does need to be a great manager, cause we are a real mess.

Simply put if conte wants to bring in his own goalie coach then why are we keeping him?

that is the kind of decision that makes you question wether the club is being run as a proper football club or if its a hobby with jobs for mates, like what happens at newcastle.

yes, i too find the report quite strange, and quite embarrassing if true. Conte is supposed to be our "head coach" which means he deals with all the footballing matters, including the coaching staff. IF, again, IF the report is true, the board intervenes something that's not part of their job, it shows how bad our club is run

I truly believe that Conte will make us into a great team again, I think he has what it takes.

 

The best thing about hiring someone like Conte is that not only is he a class manager but he will be in the shadows a lot more often due to the likes of Guardiola, Mourinho (possibly) and Klopp stealing the limelight and attention from the media. When we had Mourinho, we were top story every week on a news outlet.

Unfortunately it's not just a problem with us, it's a problem with modern football. I mean how many managers have Real Madrid's players forced out the club.

Courtois comes across as a pompous type and the club are rightly digging in their heels, by not getting rid of Lollipop and bowing to pressure.
