Chelsea are set to launch a €60million bid for Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.[bILD]

Now, the ridiculous fee aside, here's someone I can genuinely get excited about. Very underrated player, in my opinion.

If we did sign him he shall be known as "Steve".

Henry, surely.

Arsenal are too stingey to offer more for Xhaka, so unlikely they'll pay that for mkhitaryan. Depends who else we got our eye on of course.

Can see this link being released by his agent to get a better deal at dortmund, or at a new club.

Good player, not sure attacking midfield is the priority though, at least imo it shouldn't be.

Would love to see this. His Goal Scoring/Asists stats are ridiculous. (18g 20a in 48 apps last season)

Also drilled playing for dortmund so know he wont lack the necessary tactical and physical attributes to work hard and press

They lost Hummels, Gundogan... Clubs want to purchase Aubemeyang, Mkhitaryan, Reus and Sokratis... It would be suicidal for Dortmund to sell any more players, so if they do it will have to be crazy money. If all these rumoured transfer happen who exactly will play for them?

That said it looks like Mkhitaryan wants to force a move and is refusing contract talks, Borussia have been very effective this early on in the transfer market with Sebastian Rode, Raphael Guerreiro and Ousmane Dembele all set to join them... Still - selling off the entire core of your team?

doubt hell go this season.

Purchasing him would fix the mistake we made with selling Kevin de Bruyne though... And there is hope given he refused contract talks so it looks like he wants to force through a transfer.

Given Dortmund just lost one midfield player to city, are they likely to want to let another go so soon?

They are powerless given his contract status.

They are powerless given his contract status.

Did they not choose to keep Lewandowski despite his contract running out and he left to Bayern on a free?
