I expect to challenge for the top 4. I also would like a good run in the domestic cups given we don’t have European football so a cup win should be achievable really.

That’s about it really unless we go out and spend a ton of money.

Top 4 finish and a solid cup run is a realistic aim. We still have the 4rd best squad in the league and by all accounts the 4th best manager too. So its not much to ask for.

And it would be great to have my posts not deleted by the mods as well. Though that expectation might be a bit unrealistic.

Europa qualification through league position or cup. I think we have a decent chance at winning a cup. With the anticipated level of the other teams, I think top 4 will be a struggle. I don't expect us to achieve top 4, though I don't expect us to not achieve it either. The league is getting less predictable.

The aim should be to get back into the top 4 but just falling short and reaching Europa League places won't be a disaster. We have to aim to be back in the top 4 within two seasons under Conte in my opinion.

If we can win one of either the League Cup or FA Cup that would be fantastic, but I don't have too much expectations for next season. I'm just looking forward to seeing fresh ideas and seeing what Conte can produce next season and beyond if given the chance.

Win the league.

i certainly don't think it's beyond us if everyone regains a bit of form.  Matic is the key for me.

It will be really tight, can't see one team running away with it and that gives us a shot.

Minimum expectation is top 4, because that's how highly I regard Conte. Would not at all be surprised if we won a cup, and wouldn't be particularly surprised if he leads us to the title.

That said, I don't think these are the only things he should be judged on and I won't consider it a failure if we don't make top 4 but there is clear evidence of progress.

This team has won the league, if its a psychological or motivational problem that can be resolved, then clearly we can win the league again if we invest smartly and hit the ground running earlier.

The clubs ambition is to challenge in every competition and to win them all.

I think top 4 should be the main target. We can do it. All the focus is on Manchester-teams, Tottenham, Arsenal and Leicester. We can operate with ease and without any added pressure.

Conte won't be given any extra time to do anything fancy so he will keep it simple.

Top 4 but tbh I'd be happy for top 6 especially with the teams and managers in the league.

I think top 4 is realistic if the team shows up.

I'd like to see us get to atleast semi finals of both cups

Top 4, a cup run would be nice but i'm not sure we would win. We have just finished 10th in the league, there is obviously some serious problems with the squad right now. If we can make top 4 next season then i would be very happy with that.

Depends on signings.

League should obviously be priority, but I don't think we'll end up anywhere near the top.

What I really dislike is people saying that they'd rather avoid Europa League football altogether if it meant not getting near the top 5/6. EL win would give us a Champions League spot, and a trophy. Why would anyone want to deny us the chance at getting into a trophy?

Realistically, I think we should be aiming for 4th/5th and winning one of the FA or League Cups. Anything else is a bonus. Long gone are the days of league dominance. Anyone can beat anyone.

I'd always value trophies over a CL position anyway so agree with most of this. I still think you aim for the title and if we don't win but get a CL spot then fine.

EL does have an added incentive now you can get a CL place with it aswell. I'd much rather win that and get in that finish 2nd-4th with no trophy.

If you offered me 4th place and no cups right now, I'd almost certainly take it.

In a league with Jose, Pep, Klopp plus upstarts like Poch at Spurs and Bilic at West Ham, I'd say that would be a pretty good first season for Conte.
