December 17, 201510 yr Hope Ramires, Falcao, Oscar, Costa, Fabregas, Ivanovich, Terry (coz he is old), Papi and Baba follow Mourinho. A lot of deadwood needs to be cleared. If JT is old I'm an Egyptian mummy.
December 17, 201510 yr Graham Hunter believes Ranieri will be our next permanent manager. Hmm, Roman admitting the guy that Bates had appointed is the right manager for Chelsea after all years after firing him? I seriously doubt it mate. However let me look at that with more than the initial face value reaction. If Roman is looking to rebuild our squad completely, then Claudio is an outstanding choice. Look who he left in place for Jose the first time around. Cech, the best young keeper about, signed. JT coming through, Gallas one of the best, youngish versatile defenders around. Lampard developing, the best holding midfielder around in Maka, Joe Cole, Damien Duff, Robben all but signed and pushing the club towards signing Drogba. I may have forgotten some players too, that is off the top of my head. Claudio is a builder, so if Roman wants to rebuild then yes, I can see him going for Claudio. But looking at Claudio as the guy to win back the title, to take us forward towards fighting the best Europe has to offer? I am not sure that is in the tinkermans wheel house. Second to Jose though he is my favourite Chelsea manager and, while Pep or Simone would likely be better picks, from an emotional point of view having Ranieri back I won't deny that would make me happy. He is, without a doubt, the nicest Chelsea manager in my time of following the club. EDIT: Ok too many years of following Chelsea has clearly driven me mad but the thought of having Claudio back is easing some of the pain of seeing Jose go. Is nuts cause he won nothing with us the first time around but, like Jose, I was proud of him being our manager and gutted when Roman sacked him. Of course if he comes back and Roman sacks him again that will be a lot to take following Jose being sacked...again... Edited December 17, 201510 yr by axman2526
December 17, 201510 yr If you listen to what he says, he actually says that the players have been playing as instructed, adhering to everything the manager asked. So he's saying this season's performances are a direct product of the way Jose sent them out to play. mmmm...well he would say that wouldn't he....emenalo is just an errand boy who's been sent out by the board in an attempt at damage limitation. Do you honestly believe, for example, that the team's total inability to convert this year is due to the way Jose sets up the team or the instructions he issues?
December 17, 201510 yr Talksport saying the interim manager will be confirmed tonight. Ugh, I can't hear "the interim" without thinking of The Interim.
December 17, 201510 yr Jason Cundy pointing out that last time Hiddink came into a squad that included Ballack, Lampard, Drogba, Cech and Terry. This time what has the interim manager got? A bunch of misfits and wasters. Unfortunately it's a team that Jose has put together
December 17, 201510 yr Ugh, I can't hear "the interim" without thinking of The Interim. I'm going to be honest, I'm absolutely delighted to hear 'interim' knowing that it isn't going to be Rafa Benitez this time.
December 17, 201510 yr Just wanted to add, whilst I think it probably was the right decision to let Jose go, Emenalo is a disgusting little vermin and I hope he's next out of the door. Not a chance....this little weasel has hung around while great managers have come and gone while for the most part he has bought a pile of sh*t into the club.
December 17, 201510 yr Unfortunately it's a team that Jose has put together no.....emenalo & ors have bought the players...it's about time this fiction is shelved.
December 17, 201510 yr Very different times back then. Because we alow it to be, not because it actually is

December 17, 201510 yr I've said it before but this really has sickened me. There's f**k all loyalty in this despicable decision and it's not what's best for Chelsea. Six months since winning the league. We were sh*t from day one of the season and I can't believe the players weren't playing from him at that point. Edited December 17, 201510 yr by RichardCFC
December 17, 201510 yr I've said it before but this really has sickened me. There's f**k all loyalty in this despicable decision and it's not what's best for Chelsea. Deplorable. And I've said it before, we are now in morally corrupt times, perhaps more so than ever. The most wealthy seem the poorest morally.
December 17, 201510 yr PLUS Eva got married at the weekend, but no-one was allowed to go!!! i bet that didn't help

Six months since winning the league. We were sh*t from day one of the season and I can't believe the players weren't playing from him at that point. I think I disagree with you on pretty much all things not football, but this I'm 100% with you

December 17, 201510 yr I think I disagree with you on pretty much all things not football, but this I'm 100% with you I didn't know we had disagreed on much.
December 17, 201510 yr Now that the media don't have Jose to snipe at, just watch them tear Klopp to shreds. It started after their game v West Brom; a few more outlandish incidents from the "normal" one and he'll be firmly in their sights.
December 17, 201510 yr IM glad hes gone. No team collectively plays that badly unless they hate who they are playing for. This was their way of getting rid of him. 6-0 on Saturday.
December 17, 201510 yr IM glad hes gone. No team collectively plays that badly unless they hate who they are playing for. This was their way of getting rid of him. 6-0 on Saturday. 6-0 in your dreams mate!
December 17, 201510 yr Thank you Jose. I know you made some mistakes, but you were the best for us. Sorry to see you go, but the decision is not in our hands. The worst thing we're going to take away from this is that our players now know who rules the roost. Pathetic to let some spoil brats running the show.
December 17, 201510 yr sh*t happens we lve in a sack em and stack um chelsea world we sack are managers we stack are trophies
December 17, 201510 yr IM glad hes gone. No team collectively plays that badly unless they hate who they are playing for. This was their way of getting rid of him. 6-0 on Saturday. If it's 6-0 on Saturday it will increase my ire at the players, and not change my opinion of Mourinho.
December 17, 201510 yr this guy @ roman should leave the club talk about melodramatic and f**king ungrateful to go along with it. Edited December 17, 201510 yr by enigma
December 17, 201510 yr Graham Hunter was saying that it's unlikely that Simone would leave Madrid for Chelsea in the summer as he's just signed a new deal until 2020 and is keen to stay there long term. He's on good wages as well so money won't do it. Struggling to see anyone who will take over if Simone, Pep and Carlo are not in the frame.
December 17, 201510 yr I feel relieved but not sad. It's been desperate to watch this season, and Jose only has himself to blame. What a mess. Clearly some of the players no longer wanted to play for him. No one is bigger than the club, and for once we got it right this time.
