January 16, 20242 yr Yeah, very hard to see where he goes from here. Speaking as an often deluded Chelsea fan, the only rationale I can give in my head for wanting him back is that if we're going to be sh*t, I would prefer to be sh*t with Jose. I could see him working well internationaly though, the football is much different to club football. Maybe the FA consider him after Southgate finally takes off.
January 16, 20242 yr Love the bloke, so I'm irrational for the third coming of Jose 🫢 However, I think international football beckons or he takes a big payday in the Saudi Pro League.
January 17, 20242 yr It’s been such a mess at Chelsea since the sanctions that I wouldn’t be surprised to see him come back one day! Not sure it’s for the best, but do love the guy.
January 18, 20242 yr Although giving him a good slagging off at sh*ttenham ..I've....YOURE NOT SPECIAL ANYMOOOORRREE... I'd have him back in a shot to get big excitement back at Chelsea and spur some of these wasters into big things again....although.....if this happened I can imagine the shxx songs that would erupt from every ground we visit...BRING BACK OUR JOSE TO US TO US

August 5, 20241 yr Wishing Mou good luck in Turkey. The greatest manager of my generation, by far. If there's anyone who can do something crazy over there, like win a UCL, it's him. What a hero.
August 5, 20241 yr I hope he does well there too, despite going to Utd and Spurs still think he is a decent chap. Not sure he still has the same magic as when he was with us these days.
December 31, 20241 yr We've got to find someone who can build a team from the back... whatever it is we've got at the moment isn't enough.

Pochettino inherited a team that forgot how to score for two years. Anyone can make a team defensive by making a team run harder, but it's much harder to teach players to create chances and finish them. Maresca's job is to coordinate that into some sort of balance. Both jobs are harder than making a team play better defensively.

March 6, 20251 yr I see Jose is being linked with Scotland. Think he would be a great fit for Rangers - be good to see a Jose led Rangers side beating Celtic!
March 15, 20251 yr https://www.theguardian.com/football/2025/mar/15/jose-mourinho-identity-maniacally-self-serving-but-essentially-unbrokenReally fun article. Then again Ronay would know a thing or two about being trapped by one's own identity, sticking with the same schtick through the decades, etc.

May 24, 20251 yr WAYNE ROONEY......Those were the days!I hated Manchester United's horrible trips to Chelsea - they were unstoppableMan United struggled to win the Premier League in the mid-2000s as Jose Mourinho's Chelsea side dominated in the top flight.
