Yeah, very hard to see where he goes from here. 

Speaking as an often deluded Chelsea fan, the only rationale I can give in my head for wanting him back is that if we're going to be sh*t, I would prefer to be sh*t with Jose. 

I could see him working well internationaly though, the football is much different to club football. Maybe the FA consider him after Southgate finally takes off.

However, I think international football beckons or he takes a big payday in the Saudi Pro League.

 

It’s been such a mess at Chelsea since the sanctions that I wouldn’t be surprised to see him come back one day! Not sure it’s for the best, but do love the guy.

I hope he does well there too, despite going to Utd and Spurs still think he is a decent chap.

We've got to find someone who can build a team from the back... whatever it is we've got at the moment isn't enough.

Pochettino inherited a team that forgot how to score for two years. Anyone can make a team defensive by making a team run harder, but it's much harder to teach players to create chances and finish them.

Maresca's job is to coordinate that into some sort of balance.

Both jobs are harder than making a team play better defensively.
