When did you start following Chelsea and why.

Me I think it was 97 watching us play in the cup winners cup they way way we played was beautiful to watch.

Kinda hope conte will bring that back lol.

My best mate at the time (we were 8 years old) his family were Chelsea fans, quite a few generations in fact, I just copied him.

It was the early 80's....we were sh*t.

As a kid, the 2000 FA cup final was the first game I've watched on tv.

Fell in love with the winners ever since then.

About 1978 (aged a young 7 ...!) but first game was 1980. Started a regular at the bridge from 82 onwards. Regular away follower 1987 onwards.

And a massive why not? (i only had a choice of us, Brentford and Man Utd for local clubs). Not really a choice! Johnny H is my childhood hero. Met him, managed by him (for those who have played at SB for charity games)

1968. Because my elder brother persuaded me to and I liked the kit. I was six .

I know it was that year because I am too young to remember us losing to Spuds in the 67 FAC final, but vividly remember watching United win the 68 European Cup, and I was a Chelsea fan by then.

My great grandfather was from Chelsea and Fulham and supported Chelsea and watched them every home game.

If we was away he'd go watch Fulham, if we were both away he went and watched Charlton apparently.

So my grandfather is Chelsea.

My dad and his five brothers are all Chelsea.

So I'm Chelsea too. My first game was in 96, a 1-1 draw with QPR.

I've obviously been pretty lucky with my time supporting the club.

Started watching football in 2002 from the world cup. This was this guy who replaced Batistuta in the 80th min and managed to score nearly every time. The guy was Hernan Crespo. Naturally i started following him and his next club was Chelsea. Crespo left and i am still here.

Dad followed them so of course I followed his lead.

Yep, that.

First time I ever linked with Chelsea was in 2005, I was 7 years old and first time ever I watched them playing and somehow I just found myself connecting to this team. And I'm so proud of it now.

Brother took me 1978 vs Liverpool fa cup, great game to start. Been coming ever since, bought my first season ticket 1988. Can't believe I will have had one for nearly 30 years!

was always gonna be blue as the old man is despite rest of my family all being arsenal/tottenham (mum and dad originally from north london) saw first match live at age 7/8 in the old division one in the 90/91 season and started taking more notice of english football then as prior to that watched alot of one of the great milan sides on channel 4 with my dad.

Ever since i can remember, first game at the bridge 1968 Best days 'When we were sh.t'

My 2 sons and my daughter had no choice,Chelsea or Dr. Bernado's

I started to support the blues about 40 years ago, bloody hell I'm getting old!! My Uncle inspired me to follow them and we were not very good, which is an under statement. All my mates supported Arsenal, Liverpool and Utd and they were all winning trophies, I remember thinking why did I support this team that never wins anything.  The joy I experienced when Franco scored the winner in the Cup Winners cup back in 98 is something I will never forget, I opened my front door and shouted Zola Power at the top of my voice!! Its been a rocky road at times but I just think back to Munich, we really did win the Champions League!!

I was born  in 1963 and My first scrap book has cuttings in it dated 1968-69 season so quite early. My first game was Spurts away 71-72 season lost 3-0 and hated them with a  passion ever since.

As for why ...the only people  in my family who liked football back then were my northern relatives who supported dirty Leeds so it was a no brainer to support CFC !!
