Bet Vardy wishes he made the move Now!

Too many players at that club that have gave up now they won that title, on huge money with what seems little motivation. A shame for Claudio but the buck will stop with him sadly.

the scousers will be really worrying now, overtaken by City and United breathing down their necks - even Everton are putting some results together.

if Liverpool don't finish in the top 4 it'll set them back years - in fact not delivering CL football from a season where they weren't in Europe and gave up in the cup competitions could put a huge question mark over Jurgen Klopp's future

Leicester are in real danger of going down.

If they do, they can at least console themselves with having created yet more PL history, but I like Ranieri so it's disheartening to see.

Agree totally, I think it was particularly shocking how pathetically Liverpool got knocked out of the League Cup semi-finals and FA Cup 4th round last month, the League Cup was their best chance of a trophy this season and they threw it away, and then they just capitulated in the FA Cup too, and all for nothing probably as with their poor Premiership results recently their season has basically collapsed in just over one month.

I think Klopp will likely be given more time and be there next season too, but if Liverpool don't shown real improvement and better consistency next season then I think he could end up out the door in similar circumstances to Brendan Rodgers.

It's by no means done and dusted like a lot of people think, there is still a long way to go. A few defeats here, a few draws there and suddenly we're looking over our shoulders. Spurs will be there or there abouts. City are looking much better. man utd are improving. It's going to be tough. I think those 4 will be the top 4, but could be in any order.

Bear, He suffers from the Gerrard syndrome, He was far too concerned about the biggest myth in arguably the most cut throat business in the world, Loyalty. There is no loyalty in football, I can guarantee you if he continues playing like this, Leicester will be looking for a striker to replace him in the summer, So much for your loyalty. Same was with Gerrard, His lack of courage to face the consequences of a move to a rival club in order to better himself bit him in the back side, How? He failed to win the PL in his career where he would have won one at Chelsea and even his loyalty wasn't truly rewarded as he was cast aside by Liverpool for LA Galaxy. If you're in the business of winning things, Do not let a fictitious myth get in the way of your decision, Now if staying rather than going means you have a higher % of winning stuff, Then that's fine but if you're going to ignore good, firm offers just for the sake of maintaining a positive image then you get what you deserve for not having the courage.

Kinda funny really. Mourinho's last game for Chelsea was the defeat to Leicester under ranieri and now looks like ranieri's last game for Leicester would be a defeat to Mourinho. Is this what they call irony?

Why would he? He has a better chance to get to the CL quarters then Le Arse.

Thing is though, our rivals virtually have to win every game in order to have any chance of catching us. Can't see neither of the teams behind us go on such a run and I am confident Spurs and City will drop points along the way.

Yeah I feel the same, and I understand why Claudio stayed at Leicester after the incredible success of last season, and the chance to take on the challenge of the Champions League for this season, but the ways things have actually gone I wish Ranieri could have chosen instead to retire on a high at the end of last season - still like him from his days at Chelsea, a good manager and he just seems like a really nice chap, a true gentleman.

Leicester are looking so poor in 2017 so far though, players underperforming badly, their match away at Swansea next Sunday is absolutely massive for both sides.

Nothing wrong with loyalty! Admirable quality and only to be celebrated. If ambition can lead you to betray those that love you, I think the world is better off without ambition. Sometimes both parties understand and leaving is amicable but sometimes it is unecessary and cowardly. He was willing to give Leicester a good run in the champions league if nothing else and credit to him for that.

We'd still be living in caves without ambition...

Any chance we get Sanchez in the summer?

You know as much as I rate him and would have him his attitude recently is off putting. Say we did get him and we had a bad season would he start sulking for us? Just think it's a poor character trait to have and I don't think a player like that would be good for the team

News from Germany of Dortmund fans attacking Leipzig supporters before their match

http://www.dw.com/en/dortmund-fans-attack-leipzig-supporters-ahead-of-tense-match-police/a-37421717

I heard on the radio that women and children were being spat at and verbally abused.

The comparisons between Dortmund and Liverpool continue to grow.

Do you know @Zeta I was going to comment on that in my post. As soon as I heard about this it made me think of our fans getting roughed up leaving Anfield.
