To be fair, most Arsenal fans I know have wanted Wenger sacked for the last 3-4 years.

Seems like it's a case of depends who you speak to then.

I know a fair few that want him to stay, one said 'the result yesterday may have been different with him in the dug out' (!!), another said 'he just needs to get the team to perform in the big games'. Quite.

To some he is untouchable as he brought them out of the wilderness they were in during the 80's, and won so much for them.

Every dog has its day.

No right thinking Arsenal fan should want him to stay (although as a Chelsea fan, I'd love it if he stayed 5 more years).

And as soon as he's gone, they need to change the way the club is run in certain areas. They need to hire a good director of football and what not.

There are good managers out there they can get. The Allegri rumors are starting to gain some steam although per John Cross, Wenger has already been offered a new contract and it all depends on whether or not he wants to stay now.

There's also Thomas Tuchel at Dortmund. There's Sampaoli as well. There are good managers Arsenal can get if they decide to grow a pair and give Wenger the boot but if they want to continue in mediocrity, I'm all for it.

Hope we can poach Sanchez off them in the summer.

Yep, that starts at the top, anybody who follows NFL knows Stan Kronke is the king of mediocrity.

I'd say Costa is better than Lukaku. But on the other hand, Lukaku has the potential to be better than Costa has ever been. If Costa does leave, I would like us to go back in for Romelu.

Rumours that Wenger has signed a new two year contract. Great news.

For the Arsenal board it's easy to see why they value him so highly. He spends very little on transfers yet gets them top 4 and in the champions league every year. He represents stability and makes them very good money.

Time to sit back and enjoy two clubs who were supposed to dominate the league this season. One is 13pts behind us and the other is 17pts behind us in February

he is probably the most consistent manager the prem has ever seen??

fcuking ungrateful spoilt brat barstewards

Aguero is never getting back into this City team. They look a lot more fluid without him.

English media are already talking about Conte wanting him this summer.

Re. Lukaku, I like him, annoyed he paid price for Torres presence by not getting any games and wanting to leave...but there is a big question mark over his ability to perform in the big games...as Match of the day said last night, he's only scored three times in 30 apps in games against the top six...it's all very well turning up v Bournemouth, but why Costa and Drogba are a class apart, is they deliver against everyone

I think its a little unfair to judge him on that, when isnt at a top 6 side himself.

I like lukaku, always tbh. Yesterday was probably the best ive seen of him. If costa goes then he would be a good signing.

Agreed. Lukaku is very poor against the top sides
