Great game but f**king embarrassing  at the same time.  Two sh*t teams and not champions  league quality.  Can't wait for us next season

The commentator had to say it, he said "you cannot write this stuff"  I hate it when people say that. Of course you can write it.

I've always interpreted that as meaning that if you wrote that into a movie or a book, it wouldn't be believable. Truth is stranger than fiction and so on.

I wonder if people were saying the same when we drew 4-4 with Liverpool. End of the day these games happen even to the best teams. Sometimes you just have to sit back and enjoy it. This is football and these games are the best.

Very enjoyable game of football, even with the defensive mistakes. I don't know what has happened to Falcao, but what a turn around, he looked finished in England.

I haven't been that impressed with Bakayoko, he has given it away a few times.

Not impressed either, with his distribution or defending. On tonight's performance we're lucky to have Matic.

That was the second leg this is the first leg embarrassing  stuff.  On that evidence do you think them two teams are of any quality  to be in the competition  at this stage I certainly  don't.   Great game but embarrassing

On every performance, has become massiv underrated

Great game ruined by the bias bt commentary...every goal City got was great, every goal Monaco got was gifted to them...apparently the ref was anti city too even though more Monaco players got booked, the pens City didn't get were right decisions and pen Monaco got was otamendi clattering into the back of falcao nowhere near the ball...

Monaco were shambolic defensivly but i still hope we raid them for Fabinho/Bakayoko and Bernardo or Mbappe this summer.

Good cross from De Bruyne for that goal though. Monaco, like City, are good going forward, but they look a bit open defensively.

Like I said above, bt Sport ruined the game...darren Fletcher is sh*t, with mcmanaman very one-eyed

I disable it was embarrassing, it was an attacking football match. We've seen them for years Liverpool 4 Newcastle 3 twice on the bounce in the 96 & 97 seasons. Chelsea 6 Everton 3 2014/15 season, etc etc.

Doesnt matter if it's a first leg, second leg, league match, cup game, whatever it's a freak thing that happens every so often and it's a delight to watch when it does.

If Guardiola doesn't want Aguero anymore and continues to favour Jesus over him next season, i would be happy for us to take him. The guy is nowhere near finished, i don't really know why people thought he was. He went on a little blip midway through the season but now he is back scoring again. If people are going to give up on strikers after a little blip then every striker in the world must be finished. 18 goals in 28 games so far this season and i wouldn't be surprised to see him get 30 or close to it.

Of the players we have been linked with, only Bernardo silva impressed me tonight...bakayoko and Sidibe struggled...but that 18-yer-old monaco striker looked pretty tasty
