Anyone watching the city vs Huddersfield game? Not a bad half, bit of a soft pen for augero though!

Would have been interesting if they were allowed to play Mooy.. been somewhat of a revelation for Huds this year.

On a side not, I ended up watching both the Barca and RM games last night... that league is so bizarre.  It's like no one really takes it seriously or ever breaks out into a sprint.

City chose to field a very strong team so i think that is an indicator of where their priorities lie for silverware this season and expect them to whinge about fatigue as the season goes on

Good effort from Huddersfield's squad players, caught city napping and exposing Bravo for what he is, but alas the inevitable followed.

For the first time in a long while I actually looked at the league table properly as I have tended to look only at the top or bottom.  I was very surprised to see WBA, Spammers and Stoke in 8th, 9th and 10th, as I thought they were all just above relegation.  Like maps, I do find new things in league tables to wonder over all the time.

Pulis is panicking because he's hit 40 points too early. Such ambition cannot be tolerated; only mid table mediocrity is acceptable. Watch them sink.

West Ham and Stoke both started the season terribly.

West Ham turned around when the drama with the stadium and fan violence subsided.

Stoke turned around when they signed Lee Grant on loan and started using him. It's amazing that he was only 3rd choice at Derby. Bruno Martins Indi has aldo been immense for them.

On the Oatcake board the fans think they're sh*t and Hughes needs to go. It's interesting because to people outside the club, they're doing okay and about where you'd expect them to be.

I've noticed the same with us sometimes. The consensus on this board is that we were sh*t against Burnley. To non Chelsea fans, however, the consensus seems to be that we played well, and Burnley played very well.

I think the poor start by Spammers and Stoke is what has mislead me really.  No excuse either as my husband is a Spammer and my boss a Stokie so I am sort of aware of their results each weekend - just hadn't looked at the table.

I actually thought at the beginning of the season that Stoke had a very useful looking squad and was surprised at how poor their results were.  As far as I am aware my boss is happy with Sparky - I think fans who aren't should be a bit more realistic and ask themselves who is around who is available and would do a better job.

How was Mauricio Lemos for Las Palmas?

Tony Pulis uses a 4-2-3-1 formation to play FIFA :shok:

What was the reason that he didn't pick Stones? I couldn't quite get what he said.

next time you are doing something around the house, start humming the Magic Hat song - hell sing it our loud

Look like Arsenal fans will get what they wished for, more years of Wenger. I'm not sure if he's the one of the top candiates for Barca, but why rule yourself out at the first opportunity. It's realistically his last chance to win something, and the best path to walk away from Arsenal. Wenger won't be tempted by any other job, won't retire, and the board won't dismiss him, new contract is coming up, happy days !

No my husband is a Spammer

1. How on Earth have you been able to make that marriage work?

2. So was Damien. No, he wasn't from London, he was from Devon. Don't ask me how that works out.

This is better. But I hate that man trying to make himself look like an East Asian (has to be specific with that). Who was he mocking?

Isn't he being racist?  Should be reported to kick it out, Have his mug plastered over crimewatch and have his door kicked in at 5am and taken into custody.

He's not interested in trophys. He is a plodder. X

To those of you wondering about how I stay married to a Spammer - it's quite easy really.  They've never really recently been competing on the same level as us have they?   And funnily enough, even before I met him (pre-historic times) I've never really hated them - well no more than any other mid-table also rans (as we were also tbf at best at the time!!).  And although a Spammer he is much more of a general football fan, just liking watching all matches really rather than being 100% passionate about his team.  He's more heavily emotionally invested in Shrewsbury Town, our local team, now.

Completely different to me.

I think he's scared of change as many people are, especially older people. How many people his age would move to an unfamiliar country to take on a very demanding new job?
