Give him time, Give him time, At what stage do you question the purchase of Pogba irrelevant to the price? He's looking like a donkey even against 10 man Blunderland.

Yeah defo. Remember the pressure that Torres was under to score? And the criticism that he got?

Pogba gets hardly any stick.

David Moyes defines the word negativity to an absolute tea, to think his name was always mentioned as a candidate every time we had a vacancy when he was at Everton makes me feel ill.

Torres was a unique level of bad, he deserved everything throw at him.

At long last, Sunderland are being relegated. 10 years of watching them play diabolical football in the Premier League has been awful #deathofnortheastclubs

the spuds have got a top coach and they are buzzing!! looks like they are actually going to finish above arsenal !! when was the last time that happened?

The 1994-1995 season.

Spurs finished 7th, Arsenal finished 12th.

Lukaku levels it again with a great header.

Lukaku does it again. 23rd league goal for the season without penalties.

Bring him in.

lukaku is a very good striker. for his age he has impressive stats in this league. not sure who i would prefer over belotti or lukaku if costa leaves. going for belotti leaves lukaku to go to utd *shudders*

Even with his size, i think Lukaku struggles in those games where his team is sitting deep and looking to punt the ball long. In games like today, where Everton played with speed and be on the front foot from start to finish, he looked good.

He still has things to work on, but you can say that about any striker, i would have him back here next season without a doubt.

Belotti scored a great goal today as well. I wouldn't care what signings United did as long as we got Sanchez and Belotti in the summer.

purely on experience in this league i would take lukaku, but i also am impressed with what i've seen of belotti and feel he'd link up best with hazard and pedro/willian. i do think lukaku has so much more scope to improve though, and under the right coach he could be talked about as legit world class in a couple years time. he needs to leave everton to elevate himself to the next level. what he's done in a side like everton is impressive, but he was also doing it on loan for west brom, so he's consistent and getting better.

I'm very skeptical about Lukaku I have to say. He doesn't perform consistently in the big games and his link up play is often erratic. His touch can be very poor too and whilst he is a big presence he doesn't actually play with any real physicality. He would have to improve a lot but I suppose he's young enough to develop.
