Yeah agreed mate, woulda been my dream signing in the past but as you say it's just a shame he's made of glass. I'd still take a gamble on him if the price wasn't too crazy.

A surprise, the referee didn't buy in to Barcelona's theatrics. They've been a wonderful team over the years, but for such great players and a belief in attacking football, when they are down they're so ugly to watch, the most melodramatic bunch of cry babies. Monaco are great to watch, I think they can get easily exposed by Juve or Madrid at the back though.

I miss this CL. Looking forward to a possible Conte vs Allegri next season.

After watching games last few nights, feel they showed we have a lot of improving of the squad to do to get to the latter rounds...we have a good base to start with, but still need more xfactor, pace and physical strength

We'll be battered in the CL with Matic in midfield. We need to get rid of him. We need to sign a top striker and sign Sanchez as well. Sign a better LWB and find competition for Moses. Bring Christensen back. I think these moves will make us ready.

Wilshere isn't good enough for Arsenal, nowhere near the level we need. I get he's English but we don't need part time players at the level we are trying to get to at CFC.

Juventus had a very good performance in both legs against Barcelona.

Despite Torino being my favourite Italian club side (long story) it would be some story for Buffon to finally win a Champions League winners medal.

Horrible nightmare last night Spuds won the title on the last day.

I was in my old bedroom at my mums so unless I get chucked out the martial home that's a good omen I suppose!

MVG simply isn't good enough to start in our midfield. It's another Josh where he seems to get better the longer he is away from us.

He's a decent enough player that would suit an Ajax or the likes but at the top end of European football and winning titles in tough leagues...nope.

Can't say I'm surprised. So many average players in the league earning insane wages.

That's just it. Because of that the English players who show any sort of promise are instantly highly inflated like Sterling, Stones and now the likes of Ali would be in the over £40 million bracket.

For that money you can get a world class established footballer abroad rather than gambling on early promise. Of course because teams here require home grown players we all need to take the plunge to keep the balance correct sadly.

Has Walker been that great? Moses has obviously tailed off the past few months but for me he was the best right back/wing back for the first 6 months of the season easily.

Danny Rose has missed half the season through injury. Not sure how he got in above Alonso or even Milner.

Would also have had Azpi over Cahill. 

Goalkeeper? Pickford, Heaton and Lloris have all been better but i guess they have to get a Utd player in there somehow. 

The rest i agree with. 

Only one I don't agree on is Rose because he's been injured for ages. But these awards shouldn't be done until the very end of the season anyway.

So pleased for Luiz, people laughed when we re-signed him.

Both Walker and Rose have been outstanding this season to be fair, no complaints from me there. 

Only one I disagree with is Mane, think Eriksen has been better personally. 

Assuming Barcalona are still rivals (!) I was so pleased to see a really good ref last night. Made it clear that he wasn't going to take their usual nonsense. Suárez still got away with his leg drop to get Kheidra booked but a small price to pay for two superb June performances.
