I find it hilarious he takes quotes off the internet and plasters it over his twitter to make himself sound clever.

He's a total waster.

He deluded himself into believing he us an intellectual, so !much so that he went on question time, and looked a complete idiot :laugh2:.

He is an overgrown sixth former, who cuts and pastes quotes and says how amazing the smiths are.

This might be one of the best things to read, can't thank you enough for posting this link.

'Agree, I think it will work well for them for a couple of months but ultimately it always leaves sides looking a bit goal-shy because they're often a man down going forward. '

A personal favourite of mine, not sure how he's concluded that playing with less defenders leaves you a man down when going forward.

Boy do we have some punchable faces in our national side, Lingard, Henderson, Lallana, Dier, Vardy, Sterling, Sturridge, Rooney and Wilshere. No wonder why we find it hard to root for them and that is me not including Hart and Stones who could also easily be thrown onto that list. I say we put together a Hull City, Burnley and some championship whiz kids XI and do what Wales did, At  least we could get behind those lads without despising them.

OMG that's it!

There'a something about the England team I hadn't quite put my finger on when I've watched them I've felt this sort of weird anger and not at how they play but their faces. It sounds daft to say someone has a punchable face but it's totally true. I would definitely add Wilshere to that list as well.

I've always enjoyed watching England but tonight I found myself secretly rooting for Spain - I don't know why - it wasn't a conscious thing.  I tried to analyse it and thought it might be down to Dave playing, but then realised that Gary ought to cancel that out.  I still don't really know the answer but agree that there seems to be a lot of dislikable, punchable players in our team who seem up their own arse.  I'm sure if it had been a tournament game I would have supported England.  I think the other thing is that we've all seen it so many times over the years (decades) - England put a couple of decent results together and suddenly we're the new coming.  I think I half wanted us to be shown up earlier rather than later!

Too much Spurs in the current England set up.

I thought England played very well last night on the whole. Obviously the nature of friendlies means that you want to get as much of your squad on the pitch as possible, which likely explains the collapse at the end, but for the first 70 minutes or so we pressed Spain brilliantly all over the pitch and made it very difficult for them to move the ball around with any semblance of fluency.

It seems like we have a functioning gameplan we can use against stronger sides - now we just have to figure out how to beat those who won't allow us as much space!

Not been that impressed with England personally, last night was just a kick about.

They hammered Scotland but overall play was pretty poor and at the back they were woeful I thought.

The only reason we beat them was because we had a little quality where they have none. If Scotland had some quality they would have taken their chances and we'd have been in trouble.

Yeah Scotland are rank but it was just two poor teams slugging it out I thought with one taking it's chances.

International football really doesn't interest me anymore and I just see it as a hindrance as we miss out on the real stuff domestically. I literally dread international breaks as much as I dread Monday mornings.

How about getting rid of the breaks to shorten the season and then having all the qualifying done during the summer?

FA need to scrap one of the cups

Scousers complaining they have to play twice in 45 hrs over the new year. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3942312/Liverpool-face-punishing-45-hour-New-Year-turnaround-Premier-League-rejects-request-push-Sunderland-fixture.html

Funny how they never batted an eyelid when we had to play Spuds in a FA Cup SF followed by a CL semi at the Nou Camp in 48 Hrs due to them not wanting to play on the anniversary of Hillsborough.

You think the amount of games is a problem?

Im just saying get rid of two week breaks and put those fixtures in the offseason. Shortens the club season and wouldn't it be better for national teams to have players together for a month at a time instead?

I find international football to be boring now. There are rarely any good games in international football these days.

It's not surprising though. All these players that get called up need to adjust to different tactics and the players they play with all in the space of a week. There is no time for players to adjust to international football. This is why things would be better if they just played all international games at the end of the season.

The way it is now is just so hard to get interested in. One or two games for the first few months that get in the way of club football and then the same again a few months later. All it does is cut the momentum club football has built up.

The season so far has been too stop start. We have a few weeks of club football, then we have international football for 2 weeks. It's boring. It's happened 3 times so far this season. Without international football in the way, we could have easily had a bunch of league and cup games completed by now.

Yeah and with regards to ourselves we were really building up a good run of form and all this does is hamper it.

Bellerin is out 4 weeks now as well. Sanchez looking on the verge of another injury. Playing Jose away from home next. All signs point to the beginning of a meltdown

I honestly think United will beat them, Jose doesn't lose to Wenger.

Although it would be rather funny if as a Manu manager this would be the first time :mocking:
