Does us a favour that city drop points, they will be a bit deflated going into Wednesday...weirdly, didn't feel like a game between a side needing to win to get in top four race against another going for the title

Surely City are done if we win Wednesday, will be a 14pt gap.

It s SPurs we need to worry about.

Unless they beat us i think they are done. Even 11 points should be far too much in 8 gamedays.

It's Tottenham we have to worry about. Looking at our schedule compared to theirs it might be incredibly tight. If we lose the title too them i might give up football alltogether.

Fully expect a Spurs bottle job, once the reality sinks in that may actually win it.

Last season being a great example.

We're not in the title race to be fair, I'd question whether Spurs are still in it, Swansea away under Clement isn't an easy fixture and with our cupcake defense Chelsea have to get 2 goals minimum. We're so good going forward but clearly Pep doesn't value the other end of the pitch and we as City fans have to accept that, If he can mould a team which can attack like we are now but defend a little we will go places.

Well what do you know, a bit of fight from arsenal, coupled with dreadful defending. Could have won if ozil was such a pathetic sh*thouse

But if you'd won today and beaten is the gap would be down to six, definitely back in the race...but missed an opportunity today...I disagree about Spurs...there is a possibility they could close the gap on Wednesday and all the pressure is on us right now

I don't know maybe you're reacting a bit over the top because it's your club but from an outsiders perspective, Yesterday was a freak result for you which happens, Barca get occasionally beaten at home, Real drew 3-3 with Las Palmas at home. I've yet to see anything to suggest Chelsea are about to implode however of course it's easier to analyze like that when it's not your club you are analyzing. Now if we beat you on Wednesday then i'd say it's panic stations for you because you're away at Bournemouth after that which is a banana skin and Spurs are at home to Watford in the early kick off on Saturday live on Sky, Which always seems to make the favorites perform better for some reason.

Was just watching the end of the Super Sunday coverage and an interesting point was made by Neville/Henry. The next 3 games could end up being crucial in the run in, we have City followed by Bournemouth and United both Away. In that stretch Tottenham have Swansea away and then both Watford and Bournemouth away. After that there is the FA Cup Semi Final. I think we need 2 wins and a draw from the next 3, assuming that Tottenham win all their games.

I have to say Chelsea did have a mare of an international break pr wise, Marca's disrespectful front page, The story of Conte turning down Neymar because he doesn't want him, The story of Conte not having the best of relationships with Abramovich, Whoever was leaking those stories purely did so to harm Chelsea especially since Hazard denied wanting to leave Chelsea yesterday.

That should read Watford and Bournemouth at home. If Tottenham are serious about mounting a challenge then this is the period where they would have to do it.

can not see spurs dropping points at home against watford or bournemouth. testing times be here

Need Swansea to at least not lose, cause I cannot see us winning all of our next 3 games. No way we beat Jose's United 3 times in a season.

me neither, could end up going into the home straight neck and neck with the spuds !! imagine that, what a run in !! at least it wont be boring

Just seen that challenge by Navas on Monreal, how did he escape with only a yellow card ? I think the thing that annoys fans the most is the inconsistency.

Mariner let a lot of stuff fly in that match - there was one on Fernandinho by Walcott that he let go in the first half that should have been a yellow - even Graeme La Saux was saying as much when the play took place
