Everton are all over the place and how much is Lukaku going for?   Unless he is scoring he is offering nothing else.

He's won pretty much every ball played up to him, the problem is the lack of support. He's also making the right movements, but Everton prefer to play it long to him rather than play a through ball.

Sorry Scott, I disagree..he's done little in this game to impress me.  Even when we have bad games both Drogba and Costa contributed a lot more than Lukaku has done.  Unless he is scoring he offers little IMO and you can see why Jose never really fancied him.

Calm down Jamie Redknapp. Coutinho is a decent player, but he's far from world class. The guy has proven so far throughout his career that he is only good in patches. Every season he will have 4 or 5 good games then go missing for a few months. That was his first good game since returning from injury, and that was about 3 months ago.

He's just a slightly better Oscar - but the tendency to disappear for long periods of the season is exactly the same

I really have a bad feeling about today, Our record away at the blud fam crybabies is shocking and our side isn't good enough to go away from home to a good side and control 70 % of the game. The last time i woke up with this feeling was Everton away, I posted on the morning of that game also, Let's hope i'm deluded and Arsenal are Arsenal so that the game on Wednesday has an extra special feel to it.

So we get to see how arsenal fans feel for these games, really need them to win, absolutely no faith in them doing so because they are more spineless than a jellyfish.

just had a look at the table, city winning today and then beating chelsea still leaves them 6 points behind. Spurs are the threat here, if they were in front now i reckon they would bottle it, but coming with a late run and chelsea hitting a drop in form who knows.

Celtic is the perfect club for Rodgers. It's a sh*tty Liverpool-lite club, and somewhere he can actually win titles and convince himself that he's that tactical, man-management genius that deep down he knows he is.

Just seen the line ups for our game, Either Navas is at right back and Fernandinho is holding and we're playing with a back 3 or Fernandinho is right back and we're playing away to Arsenal with no holding midfielder, Welcome to the world of Pep.

We really need an Arsenal win to take some wind out of Man City's sails. The sh*t from the lane are entirely irrelevant to our title hopes but City in theory are dangerous.

I'm not too worried about Spurs. They still have Arsenal and United at home, with trips to Leicester and West Ham.

They are in top form at the moment. They are scoring goals and keeping cleans sheets without their leading goalscorer. They shouldn't be taken lightly. They have easier games than us with their toughest ones being at home.

They are a bigger threat to us than City right now. No matter what happens with the City game today and on Wednesday, we will still be 6 points ahead of them. But if we lose to City, we are only 4 ahead of Tottenham.

I think we need to beat City at home and Bournemouth away. We can't afford to lose momentum at this stage.
