 f**k em.   As  someone else said we're  as diverse as support as anyone and they aren't  all the  bloody victims.

It was a very interesting tactical game of two opposing systems.
We were happy to let them have the ball in their own half, and only seriously pressed them when they got into our half, and in the main we did do pretty well contaiinng them.
On the other hand they pressed us hard when we were in possession in our half, we struggled to move the ball around without losing it for the first half, and at times in the second half.
But when we did mange to get it forward we did look dangerous, mainly because they had a lot of players in our half and they played with a high defensive line.
When we hit the ball into the wide forward positions we were ok, but if we tried coming through the middle we were outnumbered all the time.
This heat map shows it clearly.

Well thank fcuk for that...nowhere near our best, yet we still win the game...another positive sign in many ways...I find games against the sp*rs at the bridge so stressful...every year I go sh*tting myself that I'm going to be there when they finally win and go mental when they fail time and time again...not good for the old blood pressure though...

would obviously live us to win at city too, but I'd take a point right now and be happy with return from first 14 games, especially having played Arse, tot, Utd, Liverpool, citeh and losing to Liverpool and the Arse...

Back home from a great night at the Bridge! Scruffy and intense a game as you'd expect a London derby to be, especially against these bar stewards. They dominated the first half but didn't create many chances, and even with our lads not being 100% in the game they couldn't get to half time with a win. But even when we were down, we shut them up from the stands, so much noise and atmosphere we created! Second half we were the better team with better chances and good defending. And you couldn't hear a breath from them lot. So what can I say, not the great Chelsea we've seen before the international break, but Fcuk them, we're top of the league!

These twats have a major problem with us, and that stems from the fact that they just can't beat us! How many times have we given them a 2 goal advantage and they still couldn't do the job? I can recall at least 3. 1994 when we did them 4-3 at the bridge, FA Cup 2007 when we drew (then stuffed them in the replay) and of course last seasons 2-2, which ended their feeble title challenge to the mighty Leicester City.

Spurs are a "Nearly team" who in reality haven't won anything of note since they beat us in the League cup Final of 2007/8. before that, it was 1991 when they won the FA Cup against a paltry Nott'm Forest side. And as for their stupid comments about us making a DVD or a song when we beat them, if that were the case, we would have released more singles than Abba and done more DVD's than National Geographic! What they seem to forget (the pathetic twats) is that when they beat us at WHL on November 5 2006, they had T-Shirts, sweaters, posters, and pretty much everything else, printed with "REMEMBER, REMEMBER, THE FIFTH OF NOVEMBER 2006. SPURS 2 CHELSEA 1". If that's not a pathetic bunch of losers, then I don't know what is??

Anyway, back to basics, great result lads, even though it was a slightly under par performance. But then again, we don't need to be at our best to beat this lot do we????

well the way i see it is we beat spurs 2-1 and we were having very defintely a bad day today. So if we can do that on a bad day then i think we can beat anyone on a good day!
