It's funny how the last two games at the bridge against them, we gave them a good start to get their hopes up then just kinda crush their hopes in the second half. Ruthless.

I'm a bit concerned about playing from the back. The players don't look comfortable and could've been punished for that. 

I'm more concerned for the welfare of my television if I see that c**t Redknapp on it again.

Yep, that was an issue when Tottenham were all over us in the first half.

I wonder what Conte plans to do at Etihad. City have a similar style and they have better players up front to hurt us even further if they get the chance.

As a Jew, f**k them, I have been tempted from time to time to turn it around on them in pubs just to see their reaction.

Great result. i think we need to learn from this and the liverpool game though. 

We dont have the personnel to play out under that early pressure. we would be better leaving hazard and pedro up high against city in the 1st 20 minutes, and play some balls into the channels to get us up the pitch. 

A big 3 points today though and it was a good response but we werent great today, hopefully it is the sign of champions, but im sure conte will want us to cope a little bit better against a strong pressing side.

Concerned? Just because in one half we had a little bit of a wobble. We can't be 100% on it every game.

I was surprised too but to be fair Moses and Hazard were as good as running on empty. Ivanovic tucking inside with Azpi covering the wingback role would've made more sense to me, but I can get not wanting to upset the back 3.

Willian seemed an obvious one though, he was the only option on the bench capable of carrying the ball and drawing fouls to see out the game. Might not have done an awful lot but his presence meant Spurs could never commit too many too far forward at the end.

It was a very interesting tactical game of two opposing systems.

We were happy to let them have the ball in their own half, and only seriously pressed them when they got into our half, and in the main we did do pretty well contaiinng them.

On the other hand they pressed us hard when we were in possession in our half, we struggled to move the ball around without losing it for the first half, and at times in the second half.

But when we did mange to get it forward we did look dangerous, mainly because they had a lot of players in our half and they played with a high defensive line.

When we hit the ball into the wide forward positions we were ok, but if we tried coming through the middle we were outnumbered all the time.
