What a win at Manchester City! Here's the crystal ball predictions. If they weren't harmless, I'm sure I'd have been asked to leave on numerous occasions by now:

 

Chelsea (3-4-3): Begovi?; Zouma, Chalobah, Moses; Azpilicueta, Kanté, Oscar, Alonso; Batshuayi, Willian, Hazard

Subs: Eduardo, Aina, Cahill, Fábregas, van Ginkel, Pedro, Solanke

 

Prediction: Chelsea 1-2 West Bromwich Albion (Willian)

 

Yep, it's like I've just copied and pasted the names onto the thread in random order. I don't think I'll put too much analysis into this. I'll just show myself to the door...(go, Blues).

What do you want to bet after beating City we go and lose to West Brom.

Haha is that Moses at centre back and Willian up front? Wouldn't be surprised if they did us under those circumstances!

Has Courtois suffered a long-term injury in crystal ball land or something?

We all know that Pulis will come and try to park the bus because really, it's not like he has any other options.

We should win this handily especially at home but we must not be complacent. 

Cesc helped to spark our fightback but I do think Matic should come in and start. If need be Cesc can add some incision from the bench. 

ATM they are doing surprisingly well, even though Watford have been fairly atrocious lately. 6th for now though I expect them to slide down the table after tomorrow. 

Wow they're 6th in the table. Thought they'd be a bit further behind. Anyway, first of supposed 'easy' games and at home but quietly confident. 

West brom at home is rarely easy and mostly is controversial. 

Hopefully we can record an uneventful win against them. Do not remember the last time that happened it seems to have been a while.

Yep, it certainly is Moses centre back and Willian as the false nine.

Just watched west brom on motd. 

Its going to be difficult game, i hope we score early, and dont let complacency creep in. 

 

they've scored more goals (7) from corners than any other team - Brunt can deliver a quality cross or free-kick but we really should have enough about us to deal with West Brom

seeing yesterday result, anyone who says "i don't think we'll win this one" in this or any next match threads should be automatically banned IMO

we should be able to get all 15 points in our next 5, complacency is our biggest enemy

I think I already know what the scoreline would be judging from the last the 2 games and I posted as #14.. well, signs are all there..

Take nothing for granted, but I'd be extremely disappointed to not make it 9 in a row with a home game against WBA.

 West Brom are very good at set plays and currently are 6th in the league, they are no mugs. Don't think it will be as easy as people think.

 

 

 

 

 

We've passed our two tests in our last 2 games, we're looking so strong together but West Brom is always a team that will play at their best against us. I respect Tony Pulis, he can build his team and play strong against us. Conte has to work on this match. West Brom are good with free-kicks, corners, we are going to have a serious job there.

Holy sh*t, don't know where to post it but I was shocked (in a good way lol).. I watched the bournemouth vs liverpool game until liverpool got 2 goals ahead where I deemed game over and switched off but then couple of hours later when I got online and boom the 4-3 result...  wow, it does feel like 'something' is already in the bag for us..

If Matic can't make it again, and considering he played Fabregas against City and he made a vital assist, do you really think he will then drop him for Chalobah against a much inferior team? Fabregas will also have much more of the ball to dictate the game. That would make no sense. And as bad as Cahill was against City, Zouma is not ready yet. You only have to see our recent U23 games to see that he needs a lot more development games first before playing with us. Also I would continue with the same team. Cahill has been rock solid until Saturday. Would be harsh to suddenly drop him out.

They will give us a tough game, playing away from home actually will help them, no pressure at all. I have no doubt Conte will remind players not to get conplacement, after 8 wins most people will.

Nacer Chadli will try to play between the lines and expose us, we can't give him too much freedom as he's been in great form. I can see Rondon try to target Azpi physically. 

 

I think we'll edge it 2-1.

It is Matt Phillips right now who we will have to have our eyes focused on. He has been excellent in recent weeks and has an abundance of pace, power, dribbling ability and is quite two footed. Chadli has been very good since joining WBA but judging by their last 4 matches, which they have won 3 and drawn 1, he has not started as he was injured and has struggled since to get back in the team so I would assume he will be on the bench again. Chadli most likely will come on second half I reckon. Phillips and Rondon will be big threats though. They also have quite a big team and score a lot of goals through set pieces (typical Pulis) so we have to try and limit the fouls and corners we concede as they can punish us there.
