Who would you want to rotate in? We have won the last 9 games with almost the same team each time. Why change? December 11, 20169 yr Big 3 pts. Costa again showing his class. Wins like this will give us the belief we can go all the way. Only worry is we now have a number of players on 4 bookings.

December 11, 20169 yr Thank god we have Diego Costa. Even in unpromising situations against stubborn opposition, he's clinical enough to make the difference between the two sides. If we had a striker like him in 13/14, things would have been so much different. Chelsea make it 9 in a row. Although Conte may be a touch conservative at times with his subs, he sure knows how to win. The only criticism I have is that if things aren't happening, he could change things up a little sooner. Even against Man City and Tottenham we basically didn't fire up until the second half beckoned. EDIT: ...and Cesc with the assist again. Why am I not surprised? Edited December 11, 20169 yr by DaRick
December 11, 20169 yr Relieved to get over the line in the end, great goal. Need to work out how to play against teams that sit back going forward as the next couple of teams that come to the bridge will do the exact same thing.

December 11, 20169 yr That was a typical pullis tactic against us. frustrate! -park the bus - waste time - utilize dead ball situations credit to the boys we were patient and took the chance when it matterd! bring on Sunderland !
December 11, 20169 yr Author When Costa scored, it must have knocked the stuffing out of them poor gooners supporters, they were dreaming of a WBA winner, when up popped Diego to smash them awake.

December 11, 20169 yr What a win! They managed to totally kill the game with timewasting and knocking our players over at any sign of danger but my word what a striker Diego Costa is. Best in the world this season, back to his beastly best. 9 wins in a row is an absolutely fantastic achievement in todays PL. And now we have pretty much played every kind of team. Today a team that wanted an ugly, slow and physical game and we still came away with three points! Over the moon!

December 11, 20169 yr f**k off Redknapp you utter bore. Tottenham COULD NOT AND DIDNT GET 3 GOALS in the first half. f**k off and give advice on blaming money laundering on your f**king dog. You c**t!
December 11, 20169 yr It was always going to be an absolute grind today, and West Brom looked more than happy to take a point from kick off. Frustrating to watch, but we never looked in danger of conceding, and a point would've been a fine result all things considered. Cahill was excellent, and I lost count of the number of times Kante killed any sort of forward movement by West Brom in the second half. But Costa, take a bow, sheer determination and aggression coupled with a ruthless finish. Two points gained, and that's all down to him. Delighted.

I don't even think we were complacent today. West Brom were just very solid and hard to break down, which wasn't a surprise considering Pulis manages them. Today's result is a sign of a good team. A side that was far from its best and encountered tough opposition, but still managed to come away with three points at the end of it. I suspect with the recent influx of games in the next few weeks, Conte will have his eye on rotating some players, so players who haven't had regular first-team opportunities need to be ready to step up in the near future.
December 11, 20169 yr Thanks god for the win. That is title winning credentials. Winning when you are not at your best. What a goal that was from Costa with his weaker foot. Costa got MOTM understandably because of his goal but Cahill was the MOTM over the whole game. Won everything and lead by example. He has been brilliant for the past few weeks but one dodgy performance against City and people wanted to go back to their knee-jerk self and slate him. Glad he improved on from last week. Important win. Can relax and watch United and Spurs now.
