Poor first half of football, but we got the goal and that is what matters most.

Hopefully the performances of Matic, Alonso, Moses and Willian improve in the 2nd half. I think they have been a bit off today. Misplaced passes, too slow to react and first touch not quite right.

It wasn't an impressive half, but it was a good half, we controlled the game, we moved the ball correctly, but had few problems in getting inside and at the end Costa has scored.

We have to use Moses more, he's always up in the attack but doesn't get enough. 

Let's keep scoring! COME ON CHELS!!!!

Definitely need a quicker lb to replace alonso. It lets him down when getting down the wing to attack and defend.

Been pretty good overall today though, if you forgive him for letting Palace have that freekick from 17 meters.

Was just about to complain about how werent putting crosses in, and costa does that. 

Not a vintage display by any stretch. Keep it tight and hope to kill them off on the counter.

We DEF have to win this one now that diego is suspended for the next game. i am just glad batshuayi game is a home game. He will need all the support he can get... The pundits have all been saying how we will fumble when diego is missing. i expect conte to have a plan. Also Diego can have a lil breather. He has earned it

Awful half of football. Maybe my expectatiobs are too high but we created next to nothing.

Difficult first half, we haven't moved the ball quickly enough. Gutted Diego will miss the next match but took his chance well. Jon Moss is a crap referee, he allowed Zaha close on a minute and a half dissent without a booking , pity Costa wasn't afforded that earlier in the season.

WTF would we be without Costa? Probably not in a great place. 

We don't seem to play that well in the first half these days. Wonder if it's a Conte tactic. Hopefully we see Cesc and Pedro sometime as well

Azpi's cross was inch perfect, I'm almost surprised Costa's header went in with how simple we made it look!

We've looked pretty comfortable, and we've got the goal without over-comitting. Palace are more than capable of scoring though, I think we'll need a second if we're to take 3 points.

And if Costa's booking wasn't intentional I'd be stunned. Bournemouth will be a good opportunity for Michy.

Alonso has been extremely poor today, I don't see how his an improvement to baba, I actually think baba would be fantastic in that role, Willian has made a few bad passes however costa our main man has come good for us again! I wouldn't put it past him to score a hat-trick today!!
