I like the idea of having a fresh Willian to run counters against tired Spurs players for the last half hour if they game is tight. Prettt sure Pedro has been told to run like he's never ran before for the hour he will be on or so.

I agree @Scott Harris - I don't know if I can bear to watch!

I think i'm going to be more knackered than the players by the end of the night

You can just feel that this is a big game that could mean a lot in the title race.

Just remember what happened when Everton tried to match up 3-4-3 against us.

Or City. Or anyone.

We've had them all on toast.

i will say spurs are the second best team with the 343. they held arsenal away with the formation and won their last 2 games with the formation. they also have the personel for the formation. i see us both matching ourselves out but we havent gotten the 3 points at 3 point lane for 4 years lets make it worth the wait

LETS GO U f**kIIIING BLUES

Interesting that Spurs have opted to go 3-4-3.

Have they played that formation much this season?

Quite a few teams are opting to match our shape when playing us, Everton, Sunderland, Stoke and now Spurs.

Surprises me how teams will tactically try something different for just one game.

yes they've used it a lot lately, and they play it well.

like against city, the forward players wide of their striker are much more inclined to stay in midfield. we had problems there at the etihad where it was sometimes 2 against 4 in their favour and that is a worry for me here.

Come on Chelsea. Let's do it. Just off to the pub to watch the game.

A hat-trick like the one from Jimmy would be great.

Even Rose tucked in and played basically as a left central midfielder at times against Watford. They sure like to crowd and press intensily with everyone expect their back two or three pretty much.

Spurs have played their last few games with 3-4-3 though. And they have the personnel for it tbf. Walker and Rose are solid defensively and great in attack. Dier, Alderweid and Vertonghen can all play at full back so they won't feel uncomfortable if you drag them out wide. Wanyama is a beast in midfield. Alli and Eriksen are good inside forwards to have. They certainly have the personnel.

Let's hope they get the same spanking all 3-4-3 opponents have gotten against us this season.
