June 14, 20179 yr Burnley at home to start the season. Then Tottenham at Wembley! Don't actually mind facing Tottenham away that early, they won't have had time to settle at Wembley before we play them and we should be looking to win that game. Hazard out is the only concern. June 14, 20179 yr http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2017/06/premier-league-fixtures.html The fixtures for the 2017/18 Premier League season have been announced, and the defence of our title will begin with a game against Burnley at Stamford Bridge. It will be the second time in recent years we have played the Clarets in our first match, having won 3-1 at Turf Moor in 2014/15. That game is followed by our first London derby of the campaign, away against Tottenham Hotspur, as the top two from last season meet. With the north London side playing their home matches at Wembley during 2017/18 we will be hoping for a similar result to the last meeting between the teams at the national stadium, our 4-2 FA Cup semi-final victory in April. We have won our past three matches against Tottenham at Wembley. A home game against Everton, who have not won at Stamford Bridge in the league since 1994, brings August’s fixtures to a conclusion, and in September we face Leicester and Stoke away, as well as entertaining Arsenal and Manchester City. We will play both Manchester United and Liverpool during November, while December brings a midweek trip to newly-promoted Huddersfield Town. Over the busy festive period we play Everton away just before Christmas, before successive home matches against Brighton & Hove Albion, on Boxing Day, and Stoke. We then play Arsenal away on New Year’s Day. Tottenham and West Ham United visit the Bridge in consecutive weeks at the end of March and beginning of April, with our final home game coming against Liverpool. We then bring the curtain down on the campaign with a trip to Newcastle United. True Blue Memberships, offering priority access to tickets, are currently on sale Please note: All the fixtures are subject to change due to live television broadcast selections and the impact of other competitions on the schedule. Matches against opponents competing in the Europa League (currently Arsenal and Everton) may be moved to a Sunday due to those teams playing in Europe the preceding Thursday. Any changes to the dates for the matches in August and September are expected to be announced by 10 July. June 14, 20179 yr We play three direct rivals in the first few weeks plus Everton without Eden and probably Costa, could be important to get our incoming transfer business done early to help them bed in. You can't win a title in September but you can lose one.
June 14, 20179 yr We will have Champions League Fixtures directly before Arsenal, Man City and Man U at home and directly after a trip to Anfield.
June 14, 20179 yr Author We're Spuds first official game whilst they're away from sh*te Hart Lane. Lets spoil the welcoming party for them.

June 14, 20179 yr I'm not sure if we'll be able to retain the title next season without new players. And what the hell, City and United back to back away matches?? Edited June 14, 20179 yr by Theafonis
June 14, 20179 yr How times have changed, not worried about any fixture except Spurs .... it used to be the one I banked 3 points, at 3 point lane. Nice to get it out the way and at Wembley think we could win it.
June 14, 20179 yr That is a very difficult start for us, something i was really hoping we would avoid with Hazard probably being out until October.

You really think so Scott? I thought it was a nice easy start to the season. Spuds are going to be sh*te at Wembley and no-one else in the first month is worth worrying about, L'Arse and City are both home games, as is Everton. How did we do against those three at home last season? Be cool, and enjoy the summer :)
June 14, 20179 yr Our first 7 fixtures are overall quite tough, with the likes of Spurs, City, Arsenal, Everton and Leicester away. No complaints really, we need to play them all at some point anyway, and playing Spurs in their first match at Wembley should be an advantage for us. Bring on the new season, with hopefully some top quality players to come. COME ON CHELSEA!!!!!!
June 14, 20179 yr Anyone know what the away clubs allocation will be when playing Spurs at Wembley?. Would presume around 7-8,000, allowing for however they segregate it?. Also be interesting if any local pubs are designated for 'away' fans there.

I bet its only 3k, utd have a75k ground and only give 3k, think rules are 10% of capacity or max 3k, so small grounds like Swansea give 10% while bigger grounds do the 3k, I bet the green man won't be away pub?
