August 13, 20178 yr Utd have looked good, but don't expect them to look much different first game of the season and having had a long pre season to prepare. West ham are poor. I dunno what it is with these smaller premier league sides who only ever play compact and play long ball. Be nice to see them actually go at the top teams like they do in spain. Teams filled with good talent and yet play like pub team.
August 13, 20178 yr Man Utd have to be clear favourites this season, their strength in depth is ridiculous compared to ours, and Jose is starting to get the squad that he wants. I can see them going top in the first few weeks and staying there, like we did in his 2nd spell.

He will play well one match then look poor the next. I don't expect him to not look to impress at his new club for start of the season, but it's whether he can keep it up. He had fantastic games for us, but they are too few and far between. If he proves me wrong I'm happy to admit he proved me wrong.

It will be close though as Jose now has the side he craved

He has strengthened other areas so the players you mention cannot be bothering him as much as you think. He has a big squad with a first 11 capable of mixing it with the best sides in the league. It's more than what we have at the minute.

I'm sure he is content with his squad which is more than can be said for Conte but this isn't his fantasy 11.
August 13, 20178 yr For f**ks sake, if there's one thing I don't want to see it is Mourinho winning the league with that bunch of f**kwits
August 13, 20178 yr United do look decent, they dominated that first half. They look so much more balanced than they did at any point last season. Selling Matic to them was a seriously stupid move from our board. He may not have been performing well for us anymore, but he's just the type of player United needed for their style of football. He's an upgrade on Fellaini and Herrera. What i have also noticed is how well he's moving for United, i can't remember the last time i seen Matic move that well for us. He would often hold up the ball too long and be overly cautious. Maybe it's just the usual reaction from someone you see moving to a new club, but he certainly looks more comfortable and confident today than i have seen in a long time. I gotta admit, i am really pissed that we seem to have handed the initiative to our rivals. We are Premier League Champions and the board has made our squad thin and sold one of our first 11 to one of our title rivals. I don't care how anybody tries to swing this, the board has seriously f**ked up this season.

Actually having said that how many of those players would you want to add to our squad, I'd go with 4 Pogba and Valencia with Rashford and Shaw as squad cover.

August 13, 20178 yr If United win the league this season, our board could take a little bow too for their contributions - messed up with the Lukaku saga in the summer and let United have him - arguably to be fair you could say it was not entirely in their control (and we got Morata instead who has potential to be great here), but then more clearly even worse the board approved the transfer of Matic to United - no getting away from the responsibility for that one, looks already like a terrible decision that weakened us when our squad was already so short of depth, and has already shown strong signs of strengthening United. Mad.

Yeah I can see that replace Pedro with Martial and Herrera certainly suits our formation more than Fabregas. But still hardly a squad to crave. I'd certainly have far more City players heck whist I'm at it I'd probably even take more Spurs or Arsenal players.
August 13, 20178 yr West ham are atrocious. If they carry on like this they'll be battling relegation. Poor passing, just giving it away. They have made utd look so much better.
